I use speedtest.net regularly to gauge the health of my internet connection. I've found their related site www.pingtest.net (http://) (http://) a little more useful when it comes to gaming as it checks your connection quickly for ping and packet loss among other things. It gives a satisfying grade at the end, best I've gotten so far is Grade B on my Flow connection.
What is Pingtest.net?
Use Pingtest.net to determine the quality of your broadband Internet connection. Streaming media, voice, video communications, and online gaming require more than just raw speed. Test your connection now to get your Pingtest.net rating and share the result with others!
