everyone is ok i think.
Guy broke the lights while my mom (white car) was coming out of bamboo.
EDIT: forgot to say my sis was in the car to.(this thing have me up still)

think the guy was a little drunk because he said he did not see no red light.

He didn't see any red light? You should take his ass to court and make him pay for repairs. Glad to hear your mom's okay.

the car can't be repaired it's a total right of
my sis was also in the car on the side it get hit,it also most killed her.

Boi these days u can't trust green lights like u used to nah. Best to wait a quick few secs after it changes. Anyway glad to hear your family is ok. And I just saying from the looks of the other driver's car (rims more specifically), he was prolly one of them men who does study cars and thing too much.

Yes you can. One light MUST turn red before the other turns green. What happens is that ppl STILL try to fly through the red light the moment it changes instead of slowing down on the amber like you're supposed to ACCORDING TO THE DRIVING REGULATIONS OF T&T. That's why even though your light turns green, you still see stragglers flying through the other red light. Ppl now treat the red light as a suggestion and not as a rule.
It's not that you can't trust the lights. Iz too much blasted lawlessness and indiscipline on the road. Thank God all involved weren't killed.

@ Q thats basically what I meant.What I should have said tho was that you cant trust the PEOPLE to do the right thing and obey the lights and the traffic laws.

Good to know everyone is ok, as for the perpetrator, prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law, daz all I hadda say about that.

I tell the ppl eh kno, is drunkenness killing ppl on the nation's roads! Boy, I just happy your family didn't become a statistic! I wish you all a speedy recovery.

My rule in driving after my father was showing me the ropes not long after I got my permit. We were stopped at a red light and it had turned green. He immediately told me to wait 5 seconds so I'm there waiting, OUT OF NOWHERE A CAR FLIES THROUGH THE REDLIGHT.
Then he told me to proceed, after that I give every light that turns green infront of me a 3-5 second wait before I mash gas, don't care who is blowing horn like crazy behind me.....
Really sad that people taking their lives and that of others for joke by drinking or rather generally disobeying the rules of the road.

We go by the same rule here 5 to 10 sec before you pull off,but that didn't work last nite it seems.

I myself have been in about half a dozen accidents, and thankfully I always escaped unharmed.

Thats a good practice especially along the east-west corridor. Stragglers flyin pass like is nobody's business.
