Well, once again, your resident renegade has just finished yet another pic for your viewing pleasure. Check it out:

As the title implies, this is yet another picture for my personal 'Rogue's Gallery', that is, a small collection of all of the villians I've crafted out of my twisted mind so far. This is Vulturo, leader of the evil thieves' guild known as the Black Vulcan. At his side is his pet vulture, Scavenger [working name]. Vulturo is a very cunning and ruthless character, amassing great wealth and power by preying on his opponent's weaknesses and using his keen intellect to get whatever he desires. He is a master at manipulating people, often using blackmail or deceit to trick his victims into getting what he wants. Whatever he cannot obtain through intellectual mind games, he can simply resort to force, with razor sharp talons attached to his gauntlets, the ability to fly, and the ability to summon gale force winds that can simply blow his enemies away.
Sometimes, he even resorts to using Scavenger to distract his foes, while he gains the upper hand.
Well, I'm pretty much tapped out right now....
This picture was pretty much done in the same way as the others...although it took considerably longer to complete than Magenta, and shorter than the Abominator and Evil Neo.
The background, though, was a little experiment on my part with the Gradient tool. I wanted to create a dark and sinister background for Vulturo [since, basically, that's the type of person he is], and I wanted to do a colour scheme that would match his costume.
Well, what you see before you is what I've come up with.
Sometime soon, I'll start doing some pictures of the good guys, and give you guys a break from all of the 'dark and sinister' pics that I've been churning out as of late. As fun as thinking up all of the villians for the Rogues Gallery was, I think I should explore all possibilities, so maybe my next picture would be that of a hero. Who knows?
Well, you know the drill....take a gander at it, and give me your feedback, so I can learn and broaden my horizons a bit....

Actually....no, he's not really supposed to be short.
It's just that the picture itself is considerably smaller than the others I've done. Ah well....que cera, cera....
And yes, that is a cobo on his shoulder.

Yet another outlandish but creative concotion NEO :P Good work. But you sem to be rather darkening the backgrounds a little Too much these times.
Maybe its just me, but ease up on the darkness a bit-it's beginning to hide the drawing itself somewhat.
Like I said-its just my opinion. Either that or my monitors dying again...

But seriously, it looks a little faded in the colour palette, u coulda done it with a sharper set of colours.

i was right...it is a cobo on his shoulder...
i think he wanted the dark background bcus Vulturo is a "villan"...so he has to be dark and sinister... and also he stated that he was experimenting with the background..

Hmmm...looks like old Vulturo here hasn't been getting enough attention lately.
I'll just bump him up a bit and see if there's any more feedback I can get before I move on to my next project...

You can go ahead and criticize the picture if you want...don't let the misconcpetion that you can't do better stop you from saying what you have to say. I believe that with enough time, patience and practice, you, as well as anybody else, can do much better than I can. Indulge me.
It is by criticisms that you will help me to be a better artist.
