As the major organization in the Caribbean to bring together all the best video game players in the region to compete against one another, the Video X-Games has made its name in the local and regional gaming community as the most highly anticipated annual video gaming event since its inception in 2002.
This three day-event will not only target video game players and spectators from Sint Maarten but also from around the Caribbean region and the world. To this day, the last Video X Games tournament has been the biggest international gaming competition in the Caribbean, attracting over 60 gamers from countries such as Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Barbados, Puerto Rico the US and Canada, on top of rht 150 + plus locals who came to the last event.
This year we expect to easily double previous attendance due to a larger prize pool than previous years, which is in line with the understanding that many gamers thirst for the opportunity to showcase their skills to the region and the world. The is offering up to $3000 for first place minimum cash, on top of other prizes offered by our sponsors. The VxG will also work diligently to arrange deals with airlines, hotels and restaurants to ensure the trip is affordable even for the average traveler.
Everyone from around the world is welcome to join our event this year, as the interest has grown for people seeking the Caribbean vacation experience as a backdrop to a much different competitive gaming experience. Special guests coming from the US include Mike Ross, Combofiend, Gootecks, and from france we have professional female gamer Kayane in attendance as well as special guest commentators and showmatch players.

Thanks bro, thats right , the event is technicaly held on St. Maarten, dutch side of the island.
For those of you who unfortuntalely cant make it, we are putting a lot of emphasis on our streaming capabiity, and we'll do our best to make sure you can see as many of your countries reps at VxG.
Like wyatt said, this is a rare opportunity to meet these people. And i can tell you from personal conversation with them, they are equally excited to meet Caribbean gamers for the first time. They'll be very accesible to everyone for casual games, coaching and will be going out with all international participants at night when we take you all out.

Hahah, yeah we are famous for this airport now more than anything else. It's funny how terrible infrastructural planning on the part of our airport has resulted in a huge tourist attraction.
