What is a good router to purchase? my linksys wrt54gs2 v1 keeps disconnecting and I am fed up of it.

Asus RT-N16 router, and Asus 9 dB Omnidirectional Antenna WL-ANT-191.
Can't go wrong with that combo
SwiftKey 3 | Samsung Galaxy Note 2 | Tapatalk 2

Asus RT N16
And install Tomato firmware on it for added epicness

This is the same setup I use personally. Highly recommended
The IP Bandwidth monitoring is a killer feature that should be standard across all routers imo.
Graphs which device on your network is using your bandwidth. Great for spotting someone blazing up youtube or redtube and slowing down your gaming.
Easy to disconnect them or throttle their bandwidth down to a level where it won't interfere with your sweatage.
boom bang.
