I have a PS2 for about 11 years (some good long years) until one day I was playing RE4 and it was sticking a lot. So I reset the console and placed in the disc but I keep hearing this "grinding" sound and afterwards, "Disc read error" shows up. I was bummed that day because now I couldn't play my classic console I had for so long now. I dont know what to do. Any advice? Otherwise my only option is to carry it to get fixed, only place I could think of is JK but I'm not sure if they even fix PS2 consoles. If anyone knows of a good game store that does repairs (one can I can trust), I will truly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

JK would be my recommendation as well.
But after 11 years, I think you could say you got your money's worth from that PS2

Thanks very much, and yes it it was totally worth it. Kinda sad now I cant play it now that it gave up on me, but the games I got and played during those years, good times, good times. PS2 will always be THE greatest console I've ever played on (Nothing against other consoles). If given the chance I will bbuy another one.

Hoss ebay is a ting, but yeah the ps2 was a gem especially the fat one with the hdd addon. Nothing like loading up all your games, music and videos to the hard drive...good times oui.

Ent? I want to relive those days. Period. They don't make games like these anymore. Kinda sad isn't it?
