-

-
Oh! Gawd. Not quite sure what to say. Looks like a wait-for-cable type movie actually. Nothing about it so far has caught my attention other than Walken and the Rock's body... Don't think I will be rushing to cinema for this.
-

reminds me of the Vin Diesel thing...
-

-
ok i saw a lil piece of it today was going good actually , i was not bored like when watching the scorpion king or anything.
-
its an action comedy to me anyway besides the rock should stick to wrestling
-
ok... well i gonna take rb's word for it
i would rent it on vhs.... might be a waste of money to go to the cinema
-
the movie is ok
the pirate copy ah have is mess
-
wow i can't belive people are so judgemental..... just cuz the man was a wrestler. come like jessy ventura running for govenor and ppl said that he could do it.
but acting is a totally different arena than politics! wrestlers do do acting everyday that they work, and some do it better than others. rock is one of those that does have potential acting abilities. its obvious that the first thing you would think of when you hear rock and cinema would be an action movie. but he also has comedic abilities that we didn't really get to see too much in the scorpion king.
yes yes scorpion king wasn't that great of a movie, but ya'll act as though he was solely responsible for it. come on now blame the writers, blame the director, blame the money hungry ppl who wanted to just cash in on the mummy band wagon. i do think the rock has acting potential, and i will go check out this movie to see if i'm right or wrong. at least i'm givin him the benifit of the doubt.
-
Shoguns' right. I'm like a huge Rock fan, so I'll end up seeing it anyway, but the Rock's a great actor. And he IS very funny.
Ever seen him on Saturday Night Live? or on Mad TV? Even on wrestling he shows his comedic abilities because he writes his own promos.
-
i dont find anything interesting in the rundown.even in the commercials it dont look so great and the comedy aint even funny
-
The jokers dissing the most electrifying man in sports AND entertainment.
-
i wouldn mind seein it
i like action/comedy movies
like undercover brother
''we want the funk"
-
I say we give the rock a chance....before we tell him to know HIS role and shut his mouth......if ya smeeeeeeeeellllllll....okay I'm done
-
The Rundown looks like a very interesting movie. As for the Rock, he seems to be a very capable actor. This role somehow seems to fit him alot better than in The Scorpion King, since comedy is thrown in to the mix, since his wrestling character had a comical sense to him.
Hey, at least he's better than Van-Damme.
-
The Rundown NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
i aint wasting no money on that movie........i will go and watch cold creek manor or somn
-

SPAMMER out
-
why are you comparing it to bad boys 2???
i saw the rundown, i must say it is quite an original story for an action/comedy.
for all you critics who kept saying "oh its gonna be crap, rock is a wrestler not an actor" go watch the movie with an open mind and you will come out with a pleasant suprise.
of course there were your typical action movie cliches, but, the originality of the story, the development of the character (especially "beck" the character the rock played) kept the movie interesting and kept you on the edge of your seat.
my only criticism about the movie was rosario dawson's performance. yeah she is damn hot, but her "brazilian" accent was quite american, that kinna took away from her character a bit, but i managed to over look that during the movie and still enjoyed it
SHOGUN'S MOVIE RATING: 8 STARS! (out of a possible 10)
-
The movie was good....ok fight scenes and a good story. The rock seems to be getting better at this acting thing as he makes more movies.
-
el gato is going to pay for what thousands of slaves freedom?!?!
-
I suppose that is the idea.......i just enjoyed the fight scene when the rock got his ass kicked all how.....
-
good movie.....
-
wow, I saw it the other day and it basically kicks SOOO much ass. quite simply, it was the most fulfilling action scene i've seen in awhile. everybody was frickin cool. the rock was surprisingly dredd, i wasn't expectin him to be crappy, but his coolness was quite shocking
-
The Rock ROCKED in this movie the fight scene with him the the little guys was dred I recognized that little guy from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Dred Action movie.
-
yeah but again el gato is kina small to be payin for thousands of slaves + how did the people who hid el gato set the trap without being crushed and without making it safe for anyone to just stroll in
-
umm...it's not that hard to believe when you take into consideration two things.
1. El Gato was supposedly made of solid gold. It was also a priceless artifact that was only heard about so if found, it would be worth a lot of $.
2. Ancient Mayans, Aztecs, and Egyptians were also known for building tombs with traps like the ones seen (for example) in this movie. I wouldn't put it past them to use slaves for the manual labor, though.
-
Maybe it's time for the rundown to get the SMACKdown!
If ya smeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!
-
I thought it was cool despite what others think. I don't put down shows and peopl euntil I see what they got.
Anyways word around the place was that It was a decent movie and was worth a watch.
Don't dis it because it has a wrestling star and that Scorpion King was a weak movie
-
well i didnt see the rin down as yet i hope it come come soon
-
well i know the rock a qoute can you smell what the rock is cooking
-
umm.....yea, well anyway.
and Hey!
Scorpion King was NOT a weak........................ok good point.
