Okay, old movie but not defined a classic yet. Always a GOOD rental/watch for warm movie/war game aficionados. The year is 1943 and Stalingrad is under siege from Hitler's hungry hand. One shepard's son, a sharpshooter at heart and hand , Vasilli Zaitzev, drafted into the suicidal ranks of the opposing Red Army makes his choices when faced with cowardice or becomming a hero against a feared Nazi sniper opponent. Showing his triumphs, falls, happiness and grief through the World War 2, the war that nearly destroyed a continent.

Plot and Characterisation-Thumbs up
Emotional Portrayl-FULL thumbs up

yeah,that show was good..but it was kinda dark at times but i guess it would be so because snipers thrive in the darkness

well yea i really loved that show i had to get a copy and i watch it all the time to spice up my sniper skills lol

and i also noticed that battlefield and mohaa have a game roll out almost like the movie

Enemy at the Gates! Awesome movie, brilliant cast and excellent story and action sequences. The Major should have died during the sniper's duel though.

MOHAA come alive!

Beautiful movie. Sniper portrayal excellent. But Ed Harris's accent wasn't convincing.

and the ending was fake,the two sniper's were really in a snipe off but zaitsev fired first and hit konig through the scope and in the eye,just like in saving ryan's privates,i mean saving private ryan

Is only thru enemy at the gates i learn to appreciate sniping.

I had always hated snipers and sniping in general.In mohaa it used tuh get me so vex eh.

But after that movie i learn tuh respect dem.

Enemy At The Gates was a real dred movie
i give it a 5 out of 5 i feel like watching that movie again yes!
i an all did hate snipers but after i see that movie i change my mind

I have many favourite war moives Saving Private Ryan , Thin Red Line , The Longest Day, Band of Brothers but Enemy at the Gates is the Mother of them all best battle sequences and badass sniper shots why did u think i chose to be a sniper in MOHAA huh??

mohaa is jus a friggin snipin game ....not really sickening but it spoilin the game...but say wha it have some shotgun and machin gun men

NE waze we played that me, chronos and some others were watching some of MOHAA . iIt was definitely an inspirational movie to be seeing for de tournament.

well said Andro, but we can understand how he may have been confused. Shizz is the multitask King and he usually does 10 or more things at once so we can forgive that slip.

BTW no amount to Enemy at the Gates can prepare you for true MOHAA action....

mohaa is defn not only abt sniping
in some stages u have to snipe (destroyed village)
but others u dont need too (stalingrad, snowy park)

That's right umi....snipin can only take you soo far....
even rocket snipin is limited when u reach Snowy park.

man I know fellahs who made a mod for MOHAA with a stage including the last sniper duel bet'n Vasseli and the major. It is sweet.....the major is one tough SOB to kill.....impressive AI
