Ghost Recon only shares the same creator (Tom Clancy) with Ravenshield.

Its a totally different story and different combat unit.

RS features a multi national counter terrorist force while GS features US special forces.

Unlike the rainbow 6 series where you are given a blue print of area your mission takes place in.
Ghost recon gives you a satellite map and requires you to plan on the battlefield rather than at HQ.Commands are delivered on the fly and split second timing and precise planning are a must or you'll find yourself very frustrated.

In a way this game will reveal whether or not you can make it as a soldier.

Trust me the team thing is a blessing. One man tactics can only get you so far in this game.Your team mates are smart and deadly effficient and have never gotten in my way to this day.

If you thought MOHAA was a sniper's game then you have'nt played this game. Nothing is more terrifying than having your entire team wiped out by an enemy sniper in GS and not being able to find him.

All in all this game pits your 6 man squad against numerous enemy forces and only thru realistic tactical planning can your mission be successful.

fps could still work on a console, granted it won't be really quite as good, but it'll work

If consoles had a way of getting rid of the look spring, I'd play FPS's on consoles
