Greetings, one and all, to the second installment of the Junk Art thread!
I think you guys know the purpose of the Junk Art thread by now, but for the new students joining our class (the ones that gave me an apple, anyway....), this is where you can:
- Showcase your artwork if you don't want to put it in its own thread.
- Showcase your concept sketches or work-in-progress art.
- Ask for advice on artwork you've posted up,
- Give suggestions/comments/healthy snacks (because pizza makes you fat) to the artists who contribute to this forum.
Feel free to use this thread to showcase anything you did that you feel could use a few opinions here and there, or probably just to strut your stuff. Remember, this may be the 'Junk Art' thread, but this, by NO means, is a place for spam. We've got the Run Shop for that, after all....(if you're a non-alcoholic, though....I can't help you).

This is an unfinished concept for my character, Sylvia.
For those of you who don't know who she is, in a nutshell, she's a time-travelling spellcaster from the future. This is an alternate costume, mind you. I wanted to give an Arabic feel to her, as if she could enchant you with her beauty.
Okay, so that sounded pretty corny.
But hey.....I like corn. :)

Iz that a tail or piece of the costume cause we know ppl evolve an stuff but some over do it but it looks kool and a tail would b a good add on (feline touch)

No matter WHAT, I just CAN'T think of a suitable background for this pic, so, to this very day, it remains unfinished. Any suggestions?

Well, what can I say?
I belong to a couple of Rugrats/All Grown Up forums, and, now and again, I do some work for them.
Oh, and I finally figured out what to do regarding Kimi's background. Let's just say a closer look at the Japanese text on her armour gave me a little tip-off....

I've deviated from drawing pics of Kimi from the meanwhile, and am currently doing character studies of the other characters on the show.
I did this for Luke's All Grown up website, and, as always, I hope you enjoy it.

I just thought seeing as how it's Lil and all, a backdrop of Water Lillies would be perfect for her. And the default folder just happened to have one, so...BAM. Instant background whoring, al a mode! :P

Nah i does use backgrounds(not often) of other pics and modify it to my liking...lol
But i find that it does look good cus u crop out part of the image to suit

Yes. Behold the latest addition to the New Era Outlaw's Rogues Gallery!
As you probably would have guessed from her attire, her label is Anarchy. So far, not much to report on her character-wise, but know that she's one sly vixen, who is NEVER afraid to mix things up and stir a little trouble whereever she goes. As her name suggests, she is an advocate of sheer anarchy....where anything goes, un-tethered from order.
Anarchy's character and concept were inspired during my trip to anime City 8.5. I was just looking around when I saw a group decked out in goth gear....it was just awesome. When I saw some of the girls in the group, I just KNEW I had to draw something like that. And Anarchy was born. B)
Well, that's enough from me.
I can feel sandbags forming under my eyes from being up so darn late. Later for now.... B)
EDIT: Dammit. It seems that Imageshack has deleted my image, meaning that I'm going to have to re-upload it again. But, probably later. Needs to catch mah z's first....

It has really been a while since I've contributed anything to the Art Forum, really. As you can tell, I did this one for the AGU Fansites. Forgive me....I was in a pretty morbid mood when I did this (well, you'd be too if you spent $35 bucks to see Seed of Chucky). I really liked how the tombstone came out....it almost has that realistic feel to it, kudos to the Film Grain filter.
Well, that's enough yammer-kerbabble from me.

It seems that Evil Neo's been busy.
This scene is part of a storyline that I'm working on concerning Evil Neo and the Shadow Guild, an ancient clan of assassins specialising in the dark arts.
Not to give too much away here, but let's just say Evil Neo has a knack for making sure things stay dead when he kills them. And fire. He loves to watch things BURN, the psycho.:P
He is featured here in his alternate costume.
The original concept for this design was inspired by Jonathan Hans. Once again, big ups to him.
On an entirely different note, I'm really saddened to see the dwindling number of contributions in the Showcase as of late.
Sure, the Sig Thread has seen lots of action, but when it comes to actual drawings and stuff like that....there really hasn't been much new on the western front. It's like ever since the old GATT forums died, the creativity went with it. No offense to you guys, of course.
Well, I'm off.
Can't say this enough....NEO enjoys it when people give him the good old bag of comments and suggestions, so please, feel free to do so. Later....

Hmm....I see your point.
Hands, I think, are one of the trickiest things to draw on a human figure, but I'll get the hang of it soon.
