Your'll remember the incident between two of our "leaders" of the nation i would like your input on action that should have been taken? :unsure:

hoss up to now nobody really knows wha happen in dat lunch room but the 4 ppl in there and both party's sayin someting diffrent so we go be hypocrits to judge anybody

y yall wastin ur time on those ppl it have cable(i dont), do u really need 2 c or hear about 2 politicians playin fisticuffs unless some serious blood & gore involved then it should be on comedy central...lol

Now, I'm not really a person to talk on the issue of politics (heck, I know next to NOTHING about it, really), but, to tell you the truth, the world of politics is a very tense one. When the weight of the entire country is placed on the shoulders of not only the party in power, but its Opposition as well, tensions tend to run high, especially between people of conflicting views. And sometimes, the temptation will be there to just let them have it with a good old fashioned sock in the kisser.
I suppose the tension between the gentlemen in the lunchroom got a little too high, things got heated up, and they sank to that level.
However, be that as it may, they still should have shown some self-restraint. As people who debate over issues that will affect the well-being of our country and every citizen in it, they still have to assume the roles of role models in society, and NOT resort to fisticuffs to settle their greivances. It reflects VERY badly upon the people involved, and tends to raise a few eyebrows as well.
Still, it doesn't surprise me that politicians can go berserk on each other. I remember a time when the ENTIRE Indian government was thrown into total chaos when several members of Parliament started to beat the living bejesus out of their opposition. One minister even had to duck for cover behind the podium when fists started to fly.

have we had any resolve on the whole 'Ministers not being qualified for their positions' as yet?
Prime examples Adesh Nanan and Howard Chin Lee both weak ministers

but without these little topsiturveys the media will have nothing to report on ( I mean besides killings and stuff)
any government that out of the spotlight is a sly government(is all i saying)

yea is bout time dey battle it out...doh mind if we was in thailand or korea or some small former soviet country we wouldnt be talkin bout dis cause dem does fight it out in parliament to settle their issues

that why we need some new blood that actually know how life is
as the lower class person.....and hopefully that person(s) won't get over his head as past ministers have done :rolleyes:

the politicians attackin each other but tryin tuh bring peace in the country(shakes head sadly)
Also i think that the incident was highly exxagerated so that it would reflect badly upon the minister's party.
thats how politics works, u doh have tuh look good, jus make the nex man look bad, they have no scruples. As someone rightly said the only ppl that kno what went on in that room was the ppl in it. And them not talkin
