I'm not sure if I was drunk or not but I saw several screenshots for a game which appeared to be AVP 3....if I'm right it looking real bad...if not then it still looking bad ^_^

i hope u was not drunk, AvP really was a boss game... i still play it every once in a while.. i play a lil multi with d crew and take on some aliens

Yeah, AVP was an awesome game.
It actually gave pause to Sof2 at SnS, albeit for a few hours, but what a great few hours that was.
The only problem was ridiculous lag.
That game had more matrix than matrix.
I hope they can revamp the engine and improve the net code this time around.

Don't worry man the only AVP game that was messed up was AVP:Primal Hunt which was an expansion, the previous games rocked. So i'm very confident this will be great.
Also Lol @ the first screen with the marine and the predator's wrist blade.

I'll be getting this one for sure. I used to have a LOT of fun with the original AvP2.
Playing as the marine was always a heart-thumping experience. I can distinctly remember
almost peeing myself when the Aliens first struck in terrible waves...out of the darkness.
Only the motion tracker could -kinda- give you a heads up, and still, you couldn't tell if
they were above, or below you. I feel Dead Space took some inspiration from that game. :lol:

I now run it dey as an Alien.
One word: WOW
Of course the Aliens are the quickest, can run on walls, and jump the farthest. Their melee attacks seem to be the weakest however. The Predators seem to have the wickedest stealth kills.
I am going to have a LOT of fun with this one. :)

Only played as Predator so far. Always cloaked and feeling badass =]
Just have to master the utilization of focus-jumping and remember locations of weapons. I hate those alien buggers though. Stealth-killed me every time I was recharging. That's the only time preds are vulnerable imo.

I tried several times this morning to join a game.
Timed out/failed to connect 9 out of 10 times, each time some chinee man thanking me for my (by then, nonexistent) patience.
I did get in once as predator. Yes it seems fun but has the potential to become booring and repetitive after a while.
Then again its got several game modes so who knows.
On a side note, the game totally ignored my controller setup. After configuring away (and verifying that the settings stuck), all the would work were the defaults.

Played one or two games with Mr. sniper. The game is fun, jus imagine a mix of the 3 races running around in an all out blitz ZOMG!!! lol. Ended up playing as marine most of the times, surprisingly enjoyed it, motion tracker ftw :awesome: And yea that matchmaking caused some headaches.

Took me about 5 minutes to get into a game, but once I got in, it was good experience. Really felt like I was in the movie. Sound effects are impressive as well as the dark, gloomy visuals. Need to see a review on the final game to consider it.

Too bad only one map is used in the demo lol. And those ppl who fortunate enough to pick predator as their character have it easy. I'll jus be walking around and then suddenly im lifted up in the air and impaled by a predator's claw, good times yes :awesome:

I probably played about 3 of em: AvP2 for PC, the arcade AvP, and well, this new one.

well i got the game, but i just play a bit of the marine campaign. it's pretty decent. lacks certain FPS staples like iron-sights and lean, but otherwise a good game.
not really worth $50US IMO, but a solid rental or......acquisition. :lol:

Finally playing this
(yeah ah late but it's Modern Warfare's fault)
and it real scary no ass... I dunno why it got poor/mixed reviews in the US but this game is tight and scary.
(Not as scary as Doom 3 or F.E.A.R 2 though)
