I remember last time we tried to keep up with CCA7 (Fernandes Complex) Studio Film Club but it never quite caught on. Alas.

I'm surprised by the few who actually watch this so finding some fellow indie movie lovers would be cool.

Aren't you tired of the boring hollywood hoo ha? All that slick action and the pretty faces...bo-ring!

its fun to watch how sometimes there are big name actor/actress in low budget indie movies

why does have a movie have to get big? the best ones don't which is great. commercialisation really bites.

Sadly I've only seen a few but like anime I'm getting more and more exposed as accessibility improves. CCA7 is an excellent source - have to take advantage of their Thursday nights some more.

I sorta consider 28 Days Later somewhat indie because the director Danny Boyle did Trainspotting too. Not everyone liked 28 ... hehe.

When i see a groundbreaking, original film that blows my mind, i cant help but think afterwards that the director/writer is doomed. either they sell out and do a big hollywood film, get labelled and repeat the style over and over, or never work again.

pulp fiction was brilliant, but quentin is still: psycho, with mommy issues, and an ass.

Book originally. Not sure where you can find it. Possibly at your neighbourhood video club - not the ones that only have crap though like USA Video....I passed there the othr day and saw no Indie movies. Maybe I didn't look hard enough though. It was a small branch in Town Centre Mall.
