I have seen the preview, and i am working on getting the demo, so i can let all the ps2 fans eagerly awaiting its release know all there is to know.

The release date is the 28th of this month. If u get the demo....maybe u can tell me where u got it so i can give it a try before i buy it.

this game has already been released , i've played it.

As a castlevania fan , i must say it doesnt come close to the depth of the more recent gba castlevanias or symphony of the night , it doesnt even feel like a rpg, leveling up and experience points gameplay  is gone. The lead character is Leon Belmont (Oh look a  Belmont :P go figure ) who apparently is the first Belmont to go after Dracula ( seems they totally ignored the gb castlevania). The Graphics are in my opinion much like Devil May Cry , infact this game suffers from the same problem as DMC the fixed camera angles. The game itself looks to be short , i played it for about 2 and half hours and  in that time completed 22% i guess the average gametime on this is about 10 - 15 hrs. Musically it carries itself pretty ok but still can't touch SOTN's music.

Overall to me it doesnt feel like a Castlevania , however the game is fun and deserves a run , i give a 7/10

Ok the demo is in November's ish of ps mag, along with the ffx-2 demo, so if you see the mag any where, grab it, it should be round 80-100 bucks.
