There is no I in team. And the fact that 1 player can be the end of your team, is what I like most about the game. Every player on your team is required. There is no leaving 1 man behind while 3-4 other players have their own game. Teamwork is essential. And yes, careful build order choice is important, so pick talents according to team comp and how the game progressing, if u make a mistake, well then salt, lolol. And even if u make a mistake, you're not automatically useless. I've made 1 mistake in choosing a talent in HOTS since I've been playing, and that's because we level up during a team fight and wanted the talent active immediately during the fight, and mis-clicked and end up with the wrong talent, and I was annoyed, but it wasn't a gg. And that happen once in my 500+ games of HOTS so far.

And to your point, playing 3 games of HOTS in the time it takes to play 1, is another thing I love.
Jump in, jump out. Pure fun.

HOTS to the world!

Boom Bang.

HOTS to the wurld!

After many years of being resistant to the addiction that is DOTA/LOL, i decided to give dota a try after much peer pressure from DOTA aficionados lol. Played it for about 2 weeks and was well on my way to true to life addiction. Spent $7.50 USD on a sniper skin promptly.

Around that time Berserk re-introduced me to HOTS, and i never looked back......

The entire first 10-15 minutes of a DOTA game are negated.

No last hitting, no farming. Team fights are initiated pretty much straight away. There is no "1 man gone in bush to farm and come out a God whiles the others low level and barely doing jack late game" Team leveling is the name of the game, 1 man does good, you all do good. 1 man sells body, you all sell body.

There is not 1 man soling a whole team of 5 in this game. Most matches the team level differed by 3 for the most i've seen. Most games are really close. And you never feel helpless as if you've already lost. There is always a chance to "come-back".

The game is pure fun, and ive pretty much played it every day since. The maps offer fresh variety. and the game oozes of blizzard polish. Seeing long time favs like Thrall hot up the scene is a treat. and everything from graphics to audio to personalize to pizzaz is there. Blizzard has come out to romp!

Currently the diablo season is on. so diablo stages, UI, music, and heroes. Next up is Starcraft then Warcraft. Fun times ahead.

This is the MOBA for me. GG, NO RE, WP!

Fall EEN!

I don't overclock, just never appealed to me. My cpu and gpus never cross 45c. I don't have any urge to OC even to test the limits, but i guess that some people might scoff at that reasoning. I just like things running quiet and cool :)

My stuff ain't cross 45 either, and yUh could sleep like a baby next to my rig, dead quiet. Whiles running 5GHz OC on CPU and gpus oced. So cool, quite, and OC can be had all at the same time.

Now I am by no means an audiophile (I listen to music on my phone.... via Bluetooth :lol:   ) but lemme tell you,  ALLLLLLL audio sounds better with this combo.

ALLLLLLLL.

So much better that the Sharkoon get pack down.  Serious.  It's that good.
Playing Gulf Of Oman in BF4, I was hearing stuff I didn't before as the sandstorm picked up.  Amazing.

Don't take my word for it though.  Many, MANY online reviews pretty much say the same thing.

I may never buy another 'gaming headset' for PC again.  (Consoles are another matter...will always need wireless for that)

======Day 4 - Amps and Testing=======

With everything modified, bolted up and installed, its time for listening.
End result is a force feedback system that's full bodied and the surround nature allows for me to feel positional effects in games. If I get bounced on the left side of my car in dirt 3 for instance, I feel feedback towards the left of my chair. When combined with hifi audio headphones, its literally the best audio experience I've ever had.
And the recliner itself is extremely comfortable. Now I can work and play in glee.

======Day 3 - Troubleshooting, Resolution and 2nd Kicker Install=======

After installing the first kicker and testing, there were a few problems.

Problems:

Force feedback was left heavy on the chair. Also after a short period of loud listening, the kicker would shut off. Also I was hearing audible noise from something I could not identify. I observed the kicker in motion whiles playing, and noticed the 5/8s board, though bolted onto the chair, was being flexed by the vibration of the kicker along the center, and was happening so quickly it was displacing the air and causing audible noise. Also because the kicker was in actual motion (which it should not be) the wires from the amp were arcing off and the kicker. I saw blue flames at one point!

Resolutions:

I doubled up on the board, so I used wood glue, clamps, and combined 2 x 5/8s pieces. This resolved the vibration flexing issue and stabilized the kicker.

I bought a 2nd Kicker and Amp and installed onto the right side of the chair. I then wired the left kicker to Left Audio Channel, and Right to Right. And ended up with stereo force feedback. And the end result surprised even me.

======Day 2 - Buttkicker Install and Chair Mods=======

Had to find a way to mount buttkickers onto chair which involved building a plate and modifying the recliner. I used a 5/8s piece of board for the plate:

======Day 1 - Getting Recliner Into Room=======

Bought the recliner and it literally could not fit through the door. Had to dismount in the end:

The current size of its budget seems to suggest otherwise though, but 'indie' doesn't automatically mean 'small'.   It just means the studio is dev and publisher, and not owned by a parent company.

This statement I can get behind, THIS! I can co-sign. The thought of the future of gaming only being these small typical "indie-type" games is ludicrous to me. But when you put it like that, then yes.

Cliffy B just announce the next Generation of FPS. a F2P SciFi Arena Shooter that he say going to turn up the industry.

..

Now let me watch this No Man's Sky gameplay, the game 2nd only to Zelda at e3 imo.
