Nintendo Wii U / Re: Console question

Sweet!!!

Any advice on where might be good place to buy this online? My first choice would have been amazon but they got some whacked out prices for the bundles. I saw gamestop selling bundles for 300US. Does anyone have any experience purchasing from them before, do they accept international cards etc... I may actually wait for Christmas deals online before making a decision.

Hi folks, I have recently taken an interest in the WII U after viewing games like mario bros U, luigi U, new DKC and hyrule warriors to name a few. Some of these games bring back memories of the SNES glory days for me.

My main concern with the console is "motion controls". Is it possible to play the these games without the use of motion controls? I saw a pro controller available for the U so I am assuming you should be able to play these games traditionally with a controller right?

The reason for asking this is I own the original WII and was never able to get into any of the games due to the motion controls. I own games like Mario galaxy 2 and Skyward sword that looked great but again I was never able to get past the motion controls to properly play the games. Please understand that I am not bashing but it just felt awkward to use and I eventually just gave up on the console all together. It just wasn't for me. I am also ignorant of the "tab" capabilities of the WII U and would just use a pro controller straight out of the box to play the games if that is possible at all.

Recently got Left 4 dead 2 and use to play GOW2 a while back. Just about anything else i own.

Trying to run SSF4 online but my BLINK connection just won't permit.........

Hey all, I just tried this on win7 with hotspot shield and ran into a bit of a problem. My purpose for doing this was i bought a GOW2 game of the year edition and get the region error when i try to download my "free" map packs.

I was able to get the xbox connected by bridging my wireless and physical LAN connection instead of using ICS. Although I am able to connect to live if i select Redeem Code it fails giving an xbox 800 error (can't remember the exact code). I forwarded all recommended ports for the xbox ip and the problem still persists.
