Newbie Corner / Re: Saying hi once again

Thanks TriniXaeno. It seems so, because I noticed a voting poll regarding the selection of games for an upcoming tournament. They all are good choices in my opinion.

Newbie Corner / Saying hi once again
« on: March 30, 2017, 05:53:46 PM »
Hi all. I just want to say hi after a long while being away from GATT and I haven't been into gaming lately. I'm hoping to re-ignite that fire that has dwindled since and to resume my gaming journey. In case anyone is wondering why this is so, I'm currently in college trying to fight the battle. So, once again, hi everyone.

Since OEM versions are on computer permanently once they are activated, the only way (I currently) know it to replace the hard drive with a new one and do a genuine installation, or am I missing something. Feel free to correct me because I could be wrong.

4
That will be swell trinixaeno, but how much does it cost to replace the hard drive though?

5
Slaming I was considering it, but I will have an unactivated version of windows 10. OEM version are generally for system builders and developers, they aren't really for personal use.

Software, Security, Programming and Internet / Windows 8 (geniune copy)
« on: January 11, 2016, 07:02:35 PM »
Happy new Year to everyone (first and foremost) (100). Now, does anyone know of a place (or places) that you can purchase a genuine copy of Windows 8. I want to get one for my laptop so that it will be legit, and not an OEM version. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the advice. Since it's the first time I ever tried to perform a wireless bridge connection, I wasn't too sure about it but your input cleared up most (if not all) any possible queries that I may have. Anything else I may come across, will let you know. Thanks.

Sony PlayStation / Re: Tekken Tag 2: Training in the Way of the Warrior

Any active ps3 users available? I'm only playing to learn.

I'm not sure who to ask but here goes: Does anyone know the specific steps in creating a bridge connection between 2 routers? Reason being is that I bought a router and I wondered  "why not use it to extend the range of my wireless internet?" After doing the usual google searching and so on, I tried my hand in it and well I got true with it (more or less since my ps3 is online), but for clarification, if anyone who has similar experience in knowing the steps necessary to do so. Kudos!

The journey starts here. The time is now. I'm training in my quest to be (one of) the finest Tekken players out there, or (at least) good enough. I'm not sure who to ask, but I'm looking to try a few matches to see how I can improve, so if anyone is interested, or to enjoy doing what we love to do together.  Let's learn! Teaching is the only true path to learning, and the greatest teacher is experience. :awesome:

Ent? I want to relive those days. Period. They don't make games like these anymore. Kinda sad isn't it?

Thanks very much, and yes it it was totally worth it. Kinda sad now I cant play it now that it gave up on me, but the games I got and played during those years, good times, good times. PS2 will always be THE greatest console I've ever played on (Nothing against other consoles). If given the chance I will bbuy another one.

Sony PlayStation / PS2 disc read error
« on: June 09, 2015, 08:21:51 PM »
I have a PS2 for about 11 years (some good long years) until one day I was playing RE4 and it was sticking a lot. So I reset the console and placed in the disc but I keep hearing this "grinding" sound and afterwards, "Disc read error" shows up. I was bummed that day because now I couldn't play my classic console I had for so long now. I dont know what to do. Any advice? Otherwise my only option is to carry it to get fixed, only place I could think of is JK but I'm not sure if they even fix PS2 consoles. If anyone knows of a good game store that does repairs (one can I can trust), I will truly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Hmm, interesting.

Well as a gamer of many games,  I consider it a "special" trait for me. I even wowed a few of my cousins in playing certain games (by performs certain actions which is required, showing/improving my skills and adding more to my "Games Completed" list.  I also do believe that we, as gamers, are all special in some way, don't you agree. Hence, with a passion for gaming, combined with respect, humility, love for other gamers alike (and others in general) and unity in doing what I and many others do best, by the grace of God, TheSpecialOne came into GATT's (and the world's) existence. Peace, love, unity, loyalty and respect all the way!  :hello:

Hmmm. I wonder if this will work for consoles because I don't mind voice chatting with a few people while enjoying a good game now and then.

Any chance a sf tournament coming soon? I'll be looking forward to being in one.
