I got a Corsair 850TX power supply up for sale; brought in 2 units, one was for a client upgrade that fell through. As a result, I have a spare one to part with.
Well, as the title says, I have a Dell Studio 15 (1555 series - current version) up for sale, owned for just over a week and a half. It works beautifully, I honestly don't want to sell it, but I have urgent dental surgery to take care of, so that comes first over this now...
Main specs to note:
Colour - Midnight Blue. Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 CPU (2.4GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 3MB L2 cache). 3GB DDR2-800MHz RAM. 320GB HDD. 8x DVD-RW drive (slot-load). 512MB GDDR3 Radeon 4570 video card. 15.6" 900p (1600x900) bright LED screen with TrueLife & 2MP webcam. Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN wireless card. Windows XP Professional SP3 installed (originally came with Vista HP SP1, can restore it upon request). Backlit keyboard. 9 cell battery (yields 5+ hour battery life under normal working conditions; while gaming, it was able to run on battery for 1 hour 20 mins, with a loss of 30% battery life). Gigabit Ethernet port Integrated Bluetooth 2x USB 2.0 ports 1x USB 2.0/eSATA port HDMI out support 8 in 1 memory card reader 3 year limited warranty.
I am asking $7800 for it, it is NOT negotiable, since this price is BELOW the cost and shipping prices of the laptop direct from Dell, and it is a new unit, with the extended warranty being applicable until July 2012.
Ok, for all those out there that still make AMVs, Genesis is giving in to having some AMVs shown at different points throughout the day for their next Anime City, and they're delegating this task to myself. As a result, I am trying to push for local talent, so it can be shown there. If I don't get enough entries, I will have to use foreign titles, so I want to leave that as a last resort.
However, any submissions have to be approved by myself before being shown...main requirements are to keep nudity in the video to a minimum, as well as swearing - keep it tasteful for the most part... videos should be ideally between 3-5 minutes in length, but it's not a fixed rule.
Ideally, videos should be ready for submission by the end of July, so I will be back to remind you all.
If any of you all know any creators who may be interested, please pass on any contact information from them to myself.
Any questions/concerns to clarify, post in here and I'll try to deal with them as greatly as possible.
Well I have this battery for sale, it's virtually brand new, got it today, discharged it once to verify functionality. It was supposed to be for my current Dell laptop, but I've decided to not keep it, as I am acquiring a new unit in the near future, so this can help to go towards that purchase..
It runs approximately 4.5 hours charge on medium-level tasks from what I have tested it today(web browsing, Winamp playback, screen on 2nd highest brightness level, NIC powered on and powering a set of USB wireless headphones).
Battery type is KD476, 11.1Vdc rating, 85Wh capacity. This is not the typical battery that ships with this model of laptop, those are rated with 53Wh capacity...just to note, this is a GENUINE Dell battery, not a generic model.
Price is $900 FIRM...this is a best price as is - it cost $180 US including shipping to T&T, and taxes came up to just over $400, so this is already just cutting my losses and moving on.
