Sorry I didn't see this post. Though I would have gotten an email when a reply was posted. The bugs with the screen has been fixed, and I'm going to be working on some new content soon for the game. Thanks for the encouraging words

I've started learning game development last December and since then I've released 2 games on Android.
I'm thinking about releasing a PC / Console game next. I've already got may projects set up and just trying to figure out, which one to work on next.
So I wanted to find out, what type of game developed locally, would you support / get behind?

SO, i've finally released my second game. I'm starting to get the hang of game development now. You're that one idiot who overtakes everyone in traffic. Overtake more cars, get a higher score. Collect coins and purchase new cars, with new game modes. Check it out: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.parboiledstudios.thatoneidiotLet me know what you guys think.

I haven't been around for a long time (Work, and life in general). But a lot has changed which forced me to change things up a bit. Long story short, my family's house burnt down (where I lived) roughly 7-8 months ago and since then I've been living by myself. The hardest part? .......No internet 2 months ago, I decided to start learning game development, something i've always intended to do but just never got the time to focus on it. I picked up the well knokwn development environment "Unity", and downloaded some tutorials while at work, and studied them at night at home. Through all of that, today I've released the game I've been working on, on the Google Play market. It's called "Tracky Marble": https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.parboiledstudios.trackymarble&hl=enYou get 3 random tracks at a time and you try to build a track to run your marble on without falling off or hitting obstacles. The point of the game is to just get a high score. Check it out, let me know what you guys think. PS: I'm already starting work on another game (Aiming to release in 1 month). It has Trini culture written all over it.

Generation after generation i continue to ask. Aren't there still children? Are children going to stop being born or enjoying video games? Then they have a market. And their market isn't children, but parents who believe that this is the product for their children.
On a personal note: If I were to have a child, I would have them play on a nintendo console for the first few years most likely. Mainly because of the games, but also because there is a reason children are attracted to kiddie shows with bright colours and particular themes. Child studies have shown that these are most effective at young ages for various reasons that I won't go into right now, but it's just the easier choice for parents, and they understand who their market is (which is a very hard thing for many companies... figuring out WHO their market actually is)

This will be my first post in months, but this discussion is too ignorant of facts for me to just stay quiet.
@ Berzerk's friend... A PC gamer is more than someone who owns a gaming grade PC. It is someone who is capable of utilizing the inherent advantages of a PC; i.e. tweaking a game that was made for thousands of configurations for your particular rig, and squeezing out every bit of advantage to your liking. For example, if you like AA that doesn't blur textures, there are things for that, if you like 120Hz gaming there are things for that. If you like color correction, blah blah blah... the list goes on.
The same goes for solving issues however, it's a simple case of going online, finding solutions, or just having some god-damned patience!
I will be getting a PS4, XB1 and Wii U, all in time. But I will never leave PC gaming, because i understand it's usefulness and continuous relevance.

Have to agree with Messiaah on this one. After playing Skyward Sword, I DO NOT think that kinect can give the experience the Wii-Mote gives. Even just from the standpoint of holding something in your hand and having rumble etc.
It's like BOSE telling you that you only need 2 speakers for full surround sound. While it does work, impressively at that, it isn't as convincing or as perfect as an actual 5 speaker set up. Only time will tell, but I'm not banking on microsoft on this one, they've let me down way too many times.

So, they give you a preorder code to apply right away, before the game launches then? Because as far as i see, there are 3 bonuses to be gotten on steam, and only one code mentioned on GMG.
If they give you a code right away upon purchase, and you see Grid 2 on ur steam library right away, then yeah u get the steam bonuses as well. But some sites give you the key upon release, meaning, no additional pre-order bonuses unless purchased from steam.
