As @TI has in recent times flogged Nv1dia thoroughly for using its HSI or bridge chip to convert AGP to PCIe and vice versa, its seems that they are quite quiet now as they themselves seem to be soon to introduce one themselves you can read more about the that here: http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=18853This begs the question... does the dog (Nv1dia) wag the tail or was @TI trying to wag the dog earlier?

I've been a member of this forum for a lil over a month now, mostly on account of strongton saying there are some interesting things to read here. I've known about Gatt for about 4-5 yrs now, i've played ONCE sometime they were in Eng undercroft or something to that effect. Beyond what is written here and that small interlude in Q3 Arena (and then wayne blabbing about how good some members were in QII and III) i've not vested any more interest into the actual Association as it were... This thread is aimed towards the newer members and older alike. What do u think is Gatts forum for (wrt the actuall Gaming association) and what is it supposed to be (comments from older, senior members, moderators etc).

I testing a Ch@intech FX5200 for a partner, it seems its not working in his system, when he powers up, there is no signal to the monitor it just stays blank, I am testing it currently in one of my systems home and it works well sometimes and others it completely screws up the screen.
I want to know 2 things: 1. Are there any known problems with Chaintech FX5200 and MSI boards in particular the KT333 -C 2. Is there anyone that has a 5200 and it died after a year of use?
Any other additional information would be appreciated.

For anyone out there that has ever used or seen this OS you'd know its faster, cleaner, more secure, FAR BETTER LOOKING, easier to use (YES FOLKS EVEN WITH ONE MOUSE BUTTON) and on a network sees all Win based systems fine, what does XP have to say for all of this? (this coming from a man on XP Pro)

Each time I launch Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic it reaches the loading page and crashes. It causes system errors and I get Windows error report messages. I also lose the windows bar at the bottom and get the System has recovered from a serious error msg when I restart... Anyone has any idea what could be causing this problem?
