I haven't seen this as yet, but I'm not hearing good things about this movie. General consensus seems to be pretty "Meh." so far. Not a good sign.

The redesigns are pretty "meh" except for Supergirl's.

Also, I pretty much doubt anything Dan Didio says concerning quality ever since he screwed with Countdown to Final Crisis and Beast Machines.

This past Sunday was a nightmare for me. Imagine, me trying to launch VIDEO ARMAGEDDON and the newest Duelist Kingdom tournament only for the bastards to cut the power and cause me to cancel! They didn't even give me any advanced warning.

I may have gotten the place back for free in 2 weeks, but I know somebody's going to burn if this happens again.

....was that website made in 1997 or something? Even the Space Jam website looks more advanced than that.

I know, it's supposed to be Russian, but it certainly doesn't sound too much like it.

I swear, ever since Cracked made it famous, every website wants in on the top 10 thing. The only difference being that Cracked is actually funny.

-WTMC @ walking through Chaguanas last night after work, only to overhear a woman asking one of the street DVD vendors if they have porn DVDs for sale.

Now, not just any porn DVDs, but let's just say they were asking for the involvement of some 4-legged creatures.  :/

News / Macho Man Randy Savage is dead.
« on: May 20, 2011, 06:46:31 PM »
Quote
Wrestling legend "Macho Man" Randy Savage died Friday morning after a car accident in Tampa, Fla., TMZ.com reports. Savage's brother, Lanny Poffo, told the site that Savage suffered a heart attack behind the wheel and lost control of his vehicle. He was 58 years old.

Born Randall Mario Poffo, Savage had a phenomenal wrestling career that included 20 professional wrestling championships and seven world championships. He wrestled for World Championship Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, but his legacy in the sport is defined by his work in World Wrestling Federation between 1985 and 1994.

Catch up on today's news

A renaissance man of sorts, Savage's career extended outside of the ring. He appeared on TV shows and movies like Spider-Man, and lent his voice to animated work like 2008's Bolt. He released a rap album in 2003 titled Be a Man. Perhaps his most famous work outside the wrestling was a string of commercials for Slim Jim, which featured the catchphrase, "Snap into a Slim Jim, oooooh yeah!"

On May 10, 2010, Savage married his longtime girlfriend Lynn Payne. He had no children.

He's now slamming into that big old Slim Jim in the sky. Rest in Peace, you loveable ham.
