Personally, I tend to ignore those types of speeches. If I feel like I'm worshipping Jesus, I sincerely don't want some nutjob to come out of the woodwork and say "YOU'RE ACTUALLY BENDING DOWN BEFORE MARTIANS!" That's seriously like telling me I'm eating ice-cream when I'm eating an egg.
And like I tell people, if they wanted you to worship these pagan gods, aren't there more direct ways of doing so? If Scientology is any indication, some people will follow what you teach them, no matter how wacky. Don't go into this subliminal bulls**t. Doing things in such a roundabout way is like taking a plane to go down the street. Pointless, and not the least bit feasible.
So, in a nutshell, conspiracy theories can go suck a big fat one. You aren't going to tell me what I believe is a lie if I never believed the lie to begin with.
Oh, and just so this post won't be merely philosophical bluh, here's a Brock's Dub of the two babies.
Also....some of you may have noticed that the new My Little Pony series is creating quite a stir on the internet, making bronies out of virtually EVERYBODY. How fervent has the fandom become for this show?
Yes, one of the daydreams he has that causes a nosebleed is a 5 year old girl. You really don't want to know what his removed "Kancho" attack is, either.
I'll agree that suicide definitely wasn't the option she should have taken. It was such a waste of a pretty young thing like her to do herself in.
At the same time, I'll also agree with Q and rb's sentiments here. Nobody but her knew the level of grief she was going through, no matter how much we can try to imagine it. Grief does VERY strange things to a person's psyche. Sometimes, utterly horrid things. Did we stop to think what made her detest her lot in life? Why her relationship ending devastated her as much as it did? Was she even thinking straight when she decided to ram her car into an oncoming train? That's a lot to consider here.
Now, I know I can pretty much be quoted on the whole "Suicide is the coward's way out." thing, but note that I say that in referral to people who take their lives over completely stupid bulls**t. Remember the boy who killed himself for not passing an exam? STUPID. Why? Because there were so many avenues for him to try again, it wasn't the end of the world. In this case? Read the article. It's a conga line of trauma, one after the other. She did try to get back on her feet. Multiple times. And each and every effort ended in failure. What was going through her mind? More like: "How much more could she possibly take?"
I'm not saying that what she did was right. I'm saying don't pass judgement on somebody like that without knowing all of the facts. Like the saying goes, "Don't judge a man lest you walk two moons in their moccassins."
In the meanwhile, let's just close the chapter on this, because discussions like these tend to end rather poorly.
P.S.: It boggles my mind how she had relationship troubles. Not going to mince words here, she was HOT.
I have just received an official notice from Konami. You know, the company that deals in the cards that I host tournaments on?
At first, when I took a look at the link, I was excited at what it would bring. When I clicked on that link, I just....couldn't believe what I saw.
I'll let you all know more on this as it develops, but click on the link below and give me your honest opinion on it. All I'm going to say on the matter is that this is REALLY going to surprise you.
The lyrics of that song are TERRIBLE. She sings about how great it is for it to be Friday...and that's it. Oh, there is one part where she sings that it's the day after Thursday and the day before Saturday.
DJ Megatron shot to death in New York City updated 3/27/2011 5:16:01 PM ET 2011-03-27T21:16:01
Share Print Font: + - NEW YORK — Urban radio and TV personality DJ Megatron, who built a career at hip-hop and R&B radio stations from Philadelphia to Boston and told viewers of a popular music TV show "What's Good," was shot to death early Sunday, according to his manager and police.
Police say the 32-year-old deejay, born Corey McGriff, was found dead with a gunshot wound to his chest. No arrests have been made.
His manager said friends and relatives had no idea why anyone might have attacked a deejay known for his upbeat, amiable attitude.
"He probably had one of the best personalities around, super-positive, happy all the time," Kirkland said.
Rising to the on-air ranks after starting as an intern, DJ Megatron began his career at New York's WKRS-FM, better known as Kiss FM, where deejays remembered him on the air and online Sunday.
He also worked at what was then Boston's Hot 97.7, or WBOT-FM, and at Philadelphia's The Beat, or WPHI-FM, according to a bio on his MySpace site.
Sometimes known as Mega or Mega McGriff, the deejay also appeared in movies including 2005's "State Property 2," starring Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Damon Dash and rappers Beanie Sigel and N.O.R.E., formerly Noreaga.
A father of three, DJ Megatron also devoted time to charitable events on Staten Island, his manager said.
