basically, what it's about is that anyone can bring movies that they want to let everyone there watch and they don't have to worry about companies getting on their case about illegal viewing of the shows for cash. you know how you always get the warning on the dvd's that say that any illegal screening of the show can lead to criminal charges? this allows them to screen it without having to worry about those charges.

well, it's another one of those anime convention where there will be scouts looking for fresh blood, comics for sale, anime playing and basically the things that local anime and comic fans want. it's gonna be in LA JOYA gymnasium on October 1st 2005 and will be running from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M.
 all interested ccan check me out in tech source for tickets or call me at 738-4347 for more info.

well for me....i must say that yes joker is one of the old school and oldest known...i guess i picked orochimaru cause i was thinking more along the lines of nowadays vilians and not a matter of which is a more comon name...so yeha i guess in those terms i would chose joker...but in thinking about todays thoughts on vilians i think orochimaru takes it...especially with the growing popularity of naruto

sounds interesting...the whole anime iq thingy...it's really true that anime city has lost it's original touch...but when you think of some of the reasons why...then you'd realise that anime city is only as good as the people who go to it....i mean come on...if you didn't realise that a majority of people who came to the first one were purely kenshin fans alone then you realy aren't taking in the serious lack of true otaku in this country...many people cam...watched kenshin then left...nothing else..it realy shows that with poor turn out then it only makes the atmosphere just as poor..it's up to the true otaku to bring life to the one convention that brings the joy of anime to a wide spread scale...so think about why anime city is getting shitty and you'll see that it's the lack of fan interaction...think about it
