My first console was a Nintendo and it has a very special place in my childhood memories. It would be awesome of they can pull off a comeback even remotely close to the 3ds.

Wow impressive numbers, not as impressive as the ps4 but it's great to see the new consoles doing so well. It shows that the market is hungry for console gaming with both setting record numbers. I hope the wiiu picks up eventually.. Doesn't seem likely though.
Initial reviews of killer instinct showing it every bit as good as I thought it would be eh, epic game. Not mediocre. All reviews out by Friday so we go see.
And as far as the other stuff u list goes, only a few days to tell. So lets just wait and see.
So far it has the same rating on metacritic (74) as killzone.. Which you a few days ago made fun of, saying, and I quote "in the end, it's all about the games". So why can't we say the same about ki.. And no! saying it was made in a year is not a valid excuse.
I am anxious to see if it comes home to roost in the xbox thread on Friday.
The XBox launch will suffer the same fate; mediocre launch titles, hardware failures, network complaints, misc complaints. In this age of social media where everyone has a voice you will hear the complaints loud and clear. Doesn't mean they have "failed",.. It's launch, it happens. And eventually the consoles will continue to improve with time.. Hopefully.
Sony better step up their game in that department. They have man paying for multi-player now, so that better go towards building a better and more robust online environment
February 2014 for me after they iron out the kinks. Might consider an Xbone end of 2014, Cuz I have to admit, since that 180 move Microsoft has made a pretty solid recovery. Hopefully they can learn from some of Sony's launch missteps.
