Anime / Should americans translate anime?

Should americans bring the official franchises over to the west at all?
I think the japanese companies should handle it themselves in my opinion because the yanks always manage to screw it up.
I was watching an old series dragonball the other day on toonami and boy did they screw that one over. I'm wondering if they bring naruto over how much they are gonna ruin that. Naruto is more plot driven as is alot of anime yet i betcha they will butcher it so it has more action scenes involved. They did that to Gatchaman with Battle of the planets or Gforce
as it's called in trini and it's lost all the tension of the original.

It's no wonder why a lot of japanese think the west is backward. These
yanks are giving allwe a bad name with watered down shows.

Anime / Video game companies producing comics

I've notice a trend in manga that some video game companies publish
their own manga comics of their upcoming game franchises and sometime
original concepts. The most prominent one of these is Square/Enix's
Gangan comics who produced the Full Metal Alchemist manga which is
starting to become very popular. I wonder if this trend will extend to
the american game companies?

Anime / live-action Evangelion movie

The big guns in hollywood are planning to make a live action version of
anime classic Neon Genisis Evangelion.

Nothing has been cast yet but the people behind the SFX in lord of the rings will do the FX for this movie here are some pre production shots...

Anime / Trini Manga?

Does anyone do manga or their own comics regardless if it been published yet? I'm attempting mi own manga at the moment even though i'm an ammo (anudder word fuh amateur but ammo sounds better)
at the time being it's quite hard to do. I was wondering if anyone had more
experience in this field. Do you send your stuff to japan or to the
american manga companies?

I mean wats de problem? It's not that hard to follow the storyline or
concept to a video game add a bit more and bang there you go but
so far nearly every single video game movie blew so loud it stank de
theatre.
mortal kombat ,streetfighter, even double dragon if you follow
 the storylines should make a great movie yet those
hollywood bastards fuck it up everytime,  the latest offender
is house of the dead which is nothing like the game storywise.

It's not like the storylines in these games are rubbish the ones in
a few games are epic yet they dumb it down constantly all the time.

This was the same thing that happened to comics until blade came along
now is it gonna take them 20 years to make a real good video game movie?

I left trini when I was 10 so I would n't know but are there any trini
comics around I've searched the internet buh to no avail. So I'm asking
to people that would know directly and if there are how can i get them?
It seems everywhere I go like europe japan and the states they all have there own comics but there carribean does n't seem to have one.

Anime 101 / Help on picture resolution!!!!

Hi karrionx here I'm a newb But i was just wondering how do you get
the pictures you draw to still look sharp on the computer screen?
Everytime i scan my pictures to computer it loses the resolution of the ink
and you can't hardly make out the picture. Please some dude help!! :-?
