Benchmarks / Re: build a pc

If you wanna save $55 or so, u can go with this board and this cpu and put the saved money plus very little extra and score a bess 660 ti.

Cpu will give you very decent game performance and the board is still pretty featureful. Good to go.
thanks a lot  (100)
oh God yes ty but tbh future proofing wouldn't do any good to me cause i have an xbox and ps2
(waiting for the ps4 and xbox 720) and i play like a normal person lol
1 monitor a nice mouse and keyboard i don't want anything fancy for the money i spending
cause by august i should win the lotto and build a fancy pc =D

just got news from a few people with these cards saying that they have some problems
with a certain game that i play and i tend to play this one a lot but i have to hold back this week and
yeah i might put out some more paper on the 660 ti or a 650 if someone can help me pick out a pc that costs less than 650 or maybe just a little more it would be fine by me

it doesn't have to be future proof or anything i am not competing with anyone
cause i have bills to pay as well >_>

ok well  the speed test results here were fine but in game at home i get 70 ping to one
florida server and 110 to a washington
and i tested the same servers @ dif flow locations and some got at leasy 40-60 and 85-95
with traffic ofc it was fluctuating but i never got that low ping before...
lowering ping is a big deal cause i play games where ping makes a player
idk if you guys remember these games they are old but i have to use my laptop cause my rig
is trashed atm: mw2,halo 2,CS, but mostly i need it for halo 1
a game where hit detection is old like you have to lead to hit someone i really don't want
to squander money on a router that will do nothing so thanks in advanced for the help.

i have been looking at this site for a while and recently made an account because i have been looking for some flow network tweaks to lower my ping, here are some speed test results.
Spoiler (hover to show)
while i can easily work my way around a pc, networking has never been a strong point or a point of interest but long story short..
in flow's F-spot's (some) i have seen that they get at least a 10-30 ping difference so my servers and other servers
(i have a few game servers hosted in US [Maryland] now i have never bought a good router yet cause i was stuck in a 2 year contract with blink and got flow in August i was wondering...
what can i do to lower it some more it is my personal network,
and would buying a router really help?
and wtf how come f-spot with a lot of traffic getting lower pings than i am O_o
