Nice score but u should consider an intel cpu upgrade eh. My E5200 at 2.8ghz have about a 50% gain over your similarly clocked amd chip. Had one of those chips and was disappointed with the cpu score. :(

Boy i dying in the CPU department. The thing is the motherboard that i using cost a hefty penny and i doh think i will get that back in a sale. So until year end, i will have to stick to AMD. I going for ah 9850 BE soon, hopefully i could clock that to about 3.2 with an aftermarket cooler and get about 4000+ CPU to add to this

Trust me the 3dmark total does work a lil differently than just adding all three scores. If it worked that way i would be in the 16K so with my quad system.

Oh ok did not know

Looks like i might get 19th place with this score
Let me see if i could get a little more out of this pc

LOL...don't obssess on the scores.  Worry about how much eye candy you can turn on in all your games
at your monitor's native resolution.  Thats how you know if your card is performing well or not.

Yo capt, since all the talk about standards for the benchies.. there is something I realized and have yet to prove. I notice ppl doing their benchies WITHOUT the Feature Tests and Batch Size tests, which I have always performed (granted you will have to 'acquire' a key, which couldn't be TOO hard for ANYONE on GATT). I am unsure if that makes a difference on results (will check later, unless someone does it in the interim). We should have a policy on what tests are required as standard.

the feature and batch tests do nothing to the final score...

I understand where w1n coming from, but as shotology just pointed out, the feature tests do nothing for reducing or increasing the final score.

In any event, the standard set of tests, re: only the ones that are available in the standard unregistered edition, all at the default resolution (1280x1024) should be run. Even when the pro version is installed, everything should be tun at default. In other words, install and run without changing anything whether u using pro or not.

In addition, since a lot of peeps seem to be using Vista as of late on their rigs, lets get some more Vantage benchies in the mix. Later on i'll be adding my Vantage scores to the main page. I would encourage all contenders to run vantage once u on vista (of course), place your screenies etc in the usual place and admins, facilitate the addition of vantage scores to the main "Top Systems" thread.

Suggestions/comments are welcome.
