LOL @ For the horde vs For Auir........reallly that real messed up what Blood war said, cause ppl couldnt get enough of starcraft and impatiently made cameo gamemaps of the SC realm in WC3 just so they could feel good and closer to the SC realm than ever, but doh worry when SC2 comes out. WC3 willl burn to the ground.... -"this is blasphemy,this is madness...."Madnesss??!!.............THIS IS STARCRAFT!!!!!! *WC3 gets boot into Zerg Spawning Pool*

lol at starcraft fanboys lol i didnt find starcraft storyline interesting lol how does that affect u lol. If u liked thats cool but by the time i played starcraft it was out for a very very long time and the storyline didnt really get me i beat 1 species story and got bored warcraft was a better storyline for me because of the style of game not graphics i just played final fantasy VII over a few months ago. so graphics cant be an issue lmao. As i said its cuz i got into rts late if i got into them earlier i may have liked starcraft more

I saw the trailer where they where some guy was being suited up by machines in a marine or reaper or reaver or whateva u call it. 2 words. pure dreadness. Also saw a demo of the actual gameplay.....looks really impressive to say the least. Already i can see units and strategies that I kno men goin to abuse 2 the max. (Me too

) I simply MUST have this game.

P.S: Allyuh see dat Protoss War of the Worlds walkin, laser shootin thing? An de mothership? an the teleporty thingy. Protoss goin 2 be d baddest race 4 sure.

wtf if u only knew how deep the story line for starcraft was u noob i letin u off earlier but
Jezz this requiers a carrier bombardment to clean up
btw when u get the original sc u get a book in the book u get a very indepth storyline on all
the races there entrance into the sc galaxy and there reasons/motives
dude u need to know all about something before u say something like that
the only game i know with that much depth is C&C

i never said story wasnt in depth i said i didnt like it lol and besides the fact that i didnt like 1 game get so many people mad this is first time i see this lol. I could have said i dont like mario or zelda and not get this reaction its kinda cool. And i didnt like how the story went during the game tried to make it futuristic id prefer it like warcraft where they actually talk face to face etc. I liked gameplay but it didnt hook my like WC it aint my fault lol.

...well you DO have to consider that Starcraft is one of the 'bedrock' games of GATT....all the older folk holds a very biased view towards the game...not without good reason, but they have a heavy bias towards it.

It's like saying that you're a fan of West Indies cricket and saying that you don't think our team in the 80s was anything overly special on a cricket MB...see how fast you would get roasted...

Trust me, if you first played Starcraft as plenty of these other guys...you would be just as much as an Infected Terran as the rest of us....

thats what i said but i played it many years after its release and i got hooked on warcraft instead lol. and i did say im noob in rts i mean pretty much only rts games i played was warcraft, starcraft, Age of empires 2 and Myth( i think myth lol )

Ok first off as ppl are lighting you up like an american prostitute in a islamic extremist country, it's all well and good to not take to a game cause its not within the genre (not game genre but rather story type genre) as you clearly prefer mythical fantasy to scifi fair enough. I think what is not helping your case however is how you're coming across. Take for instance what is quoted from you above... you make mention of WC3 (stress this is the THIRD and LATEST insatllment of a *craft from Blizzard, hence the best game engine to date) thus it allowed them to tell the story in a different way or as you put it "face to face". You have to consider that the orignal starcraft engine wasn't designed for the in-game cut scenes as WC3. THus you get BLAZE for making comments that are obviously misaligned. You've just gone from saying I don't like a game because of the theme to I don't like the game cause it doh tell the story the way I like it... thats just stupid... you shoulda just stopped at I prefer fantasy to scifi and that woulda been talk done right there...

the older members are a little biased to sc but what do u expect
and let me say this blood if u said some of the stuff u said in this thread for
some other titles u would get almost the same maybe even worst reactions
i for one would bash your head in with the goron sword if u said anything about zelda
or would unleash Bahamuth on your a$$ in the case of the ff titles exepte x2

This game has quotes straight out of classics like Aliens and "starship trooper" like themes. the first RTS with 3 COMPLETELY different races to chose from with COMPLETELY different fighting characteristics. All this from a company known for making only fantasy based games.

people still gettin mad cuz i didnt really like it right? oh well i think anyone who got into rts late enough so that warcraft 3 and starcraft were already released would like warcraft more just cuz its more advanced oh and i have no problem with science fiction i actually liked species and such better in starcraft i just got hooked on WC3
