I still say he shouldn't have banned Yu-Gi-Oh! from the events following AC5. You simply don't apply the "Peter pay for Paul, and Paul pay for all!" strategy to people, and then go and blame another organisation that had nothing really to do with it. That is a very a**holish thing to do.

I disagree with you about the last one NEO, I had a great time at the first Royal Palm AC. The VIP playlist was really quite good. A repeat of last year would have made my day.

sry for the necro but I heard something earlier on today abt another anime city being sumtime in AUGUST???anyone else heard this?

i read i the guardain, last week or so, that it will be in the same "sweat shop" place, on august 2nd (can't be 100% on the date)

Hmm @ location, because from what I've been told (as well as everyone else that is on the mailing list), that the location is not going to be in Royal Palm...but in Club Ambassador, so I hope it would be better.....

even with a new location (which would be a help), the major problem with the event is the playlist. I mean really 3 filler-crap naruto movies and a equally filler bleach movie. Geez the only worth watching was paprika(which they didn't show all of) and the new appleseed (which u can't watch properly since u couldn't hear anything, over naruto's mouth on the other screen)....

And one more thing, how can u hold an event, where people buy tickets but they doh even know what will be showing at the event.

EDIT: CORRECTION: AC wil NOT be held at the previous venue, but at the Ambassador club, Long Circular Rd, 2nd August.

Well ppl it was last week rite.....how did it go??? I heard from two different parties that it was great and another that it was horrible.

When is the next one? Will they ever go back to Centre of Excellence or atleast sumwhere bigger :S

Next Anime City is August 15, same location as before (Club Ambassador)..from 8am-5 or 8pm...

Tickets went on sale yesterday - $75 and $150 (the 150 tickets getting 3 hours extra for the afterparty, including a live rock band performing, in addition to the usual perks, $75 ticket holders will be required to leave @ 5pm).
