Hey guys! Guess what! I just vacuumed my wii, know why? Look, look, People have been complaining about their Wii's unable to read the Brawl discs, cuz its Dual Layered - the first on wii mind you, therefore other games should work fine. The dust around the optical readers screws up the disc, so ppl have had to send their consoles to Nintendo for CLEANING... WTF??? LOL first its 360 with RRoD, now its wii with DL (Dutty lens LOL). i've read it all over! I vacuumed the Disc Drive, the bottom fan - which had ONE SETTA DUST... and the main fan, which was surprisingly clean.

SO i got brawl

so it did an update when i put the disc in

SO THE MC WII FREEZE

SO i reset the MC Wii and it working now..

so i suggest after it does the update, power down and back up and you should be fine...lets hope.

Its got the most amazing mc intro ive seen thus far for this generation in games.

I got it yesterday as well. The place wasn't as packed as I thought it would be, relief.
haven't had the chance to use it yet, but I played it at a friends already. It's....very floaty. Ike and Wolf VERY fkin dread.

since as soon as I get it thursday im probably not going to leave my wii to do anything but eat, im just going to go ahead and say the game is the best thing since doubles. Now if you excuse me im going back to training on melee untill I get brawl.

People I know who play this game after playing in tournaments in Melee do see changes in the game but really dont mind it atall. Many things have changed, and for the better.

Man getting it was not difficult to do. I passed Walmart yesterday. A friggin Navigator pull up and TEN chirren jump out from it and haul @ss inside the store. Like dem was on a MISSION boy. Walking back ALL of them with Brawl in their hand...and they smiling like is christmas. Harry Potter wha? LOL.

I finished the Subspace mode last night after about 7-8 hours of gameplay. This unclocks nearly all but 3 of the characters...i cant remember who offhand. The following is an observation, not an opinion

You can of course unlock them in different ways, this is just one.

Ike is awesome, he's slow as hell but has uber attacks, hits hella hard.

OK to get to the point

I played a couple online matches (random matches) and also spectated on some (you can do that). LAG FREE, at least on my end. I got no slowdowns whatsoever for all 10 times i tried it. I have heard that there are issues, these are will ppl with slow wireless connections. I pretty damn sure I was own by many a preadolscent. At least you cant hear them talk...thank god.

you CAN play a straight up BRAWL or a TEAM BRAWL online. When its with random ppl its random matchups and no ladder matches, so you can get your @ss whooped by a vet player very easily. However it may be a good thing "Wheyyyyyyyy that man mad, how he do that". The team matches can be manipulated to have a 2v2 if you do it right. Where you can invite or a friend can ask to be invited into your random online team brawl, and you go for it.

Playing with friends Im still checking out. Its taking long as hell to register ppls Friend Codes....i may try a different way by registering them in game.

The single player subspace mode is surprisingly good. The story is pretty basic but fun for something with no dialogue. I was able to play out thefull 8 hours and learn some moves and abilities and a few favorite characters I like and dont like. I think Wario is awesome now, he hits HELLA hard.
Ive read reviews that people say its repetitive and boring and you need to do it to unlock the characters. All of this is not true. You can unlock chars in Brawl matches but you just need to fight them (i believe as before). Repetitive gameplay, that is clearly a "lemme say this because everyone will" statement. You change characters every 2 stages in the game and you are always unlocking new ones, at no time does it get boring. Thats about 8 hours playtime there and you still havent played the actual game itself yet.

Last boss is CHEAP as Hell......friggin ONESHOTS you

bleh...kicked his @ss anyway.

Anyway people.....if you got a Wii doe yourself a favor and get this game. its worth the money.

Just unlocked Snake and started SE. So far so good, event 14 is a B!tch and I still haven't gotten accustomed to the overall reduced speed of the game. Bowser is pretty good this time around as well.

so far it seems like all the sword based characters are really good, I'm liking toon link, marth looks solid again also.

whats the general opinion on sonic? The fact that 3 of his specials are basically the same thing, and the lack of power is a bit of a turn off. I suppose the obvious upside is the speed, but his smashes are really weak.

I personally don't like him all that much, there's definite some Chipp Syndrome symptoms there (fast character,but weaker and taking damage like a mc). I am disappointed with Snake who I find to be real slow. I do guess its kinda early to make proper assessments of everyone.

I don't think he's all that slow really. Will definitely take a while to get accustomed to that mine-layer and mortar smash, but his tilt attacks are far better than alot of the characters. It seems to be the same with Zero suit: that down smash sucks, but the down b is so cool and satisfying when u land a hit. Oh, and Faaalllcooonn Puuunch!!

Game is too floaty. High gravity should be a default. Tripping is absolute s**t. Gameplay isn't as offensive as it could've been. Otherwise, I'm very happy.

wher do i hadda go to get pplz that trading their wii numbers so i can battle sum ppl i will kinda know online lol..wen i buy the wii and my frends tell me about that dust thing i got sooo scared..but my wii didnt give me no trouble wat so ever..and thank god for that..cuz i have it almost a year now so i was scared it wudda had cubweb in it..but once again nintendo didnt fail me at all...:Di got it today self so i ent get a chacne to really get anything but i wanna try out online is my must hype part for me, that and stage editor
