Ok with the help of Captain Awesome, Ive done my first official overclock

System Specs are as follows:

E2200 @ 2.6 Ghz (Stock 2.2) on stock coolin...

4 gigs of dual channel Crucial Ballistic 1066 Ram (2 x2 gig sticks)


Evga 8800 gt 512 Superclocked version @ stock speeds

and Motherboard MSI P6N SLI Platinum NForce 650I


Mind you the only overclock was on the processor , nothing done on card.... :happy0203:

Good job though.  Time for a proper HSF.

A Thermalright Ultima 90 with a single 90mm fan should do the trick.
Maybe then you can try for 3 GHz. :happy0203:

ran it at 2.89 with slight slight oc on the card

32 degrees oui wow...

will try up to 3.0ghz next week with mo juice on the card once system runs stable for a lil while....
