Happy new year all!

Well fellahs, just wanted to give a sneak peak of my latest machine build, been trying to build this thing since November 09 but work kept me tied up, got a bit of time over the holidays and some encouragement to get the rig going after seeing Archman get on bad with that last killer score  :icon_pirat:

So here is a sneak peak of my work in progress after alot of spray paint, time and dremel action   , when i am finish building the rig (Some time in January hopefully) i will drop more details and pictures with a list of my parts and so on.

keep in mind that the scores i am posting now are not my finals, this is just after a quick OS install and a bit of overclocking here and there, i will post my final scores when the system is completed, :happy0203:

Here goes;

TopView Sneak Peak

Front (without front cover) Sneak Peak:

Mobo closeup Sneak Peak:

OS Rating sneak peak

OC / Stability proof sneak peak

3dmark sneak peak:

Well, you probably should have blacked out more gpu-z fields because I know that sapphire version of hemlock have a default clock of 735mhz...so wayyy @ all that cash and masterful page refresh jitsu to actually get one.

The rest is for all to see so there's not that much mystery.

Taking a look at the rating, i'd guess you have some sort of raid going on for the very least, maybe even an SSD.

Good looking job so far dude.

Ah boy...yuh lookin good.

Whats keeping you from 4GHz though?  That watercolling setup should easily enable you to
attain 4.2 Ghz.

hehe true true, i only realize i shouda have blot out more after i upload but was to lazy to gone change it again hehe,

yeah the page refresh job was ah task! i and all still ent know how i manage to get one, was a piece of best luck deh yes

hoping to get everything sorted out this week then i will post up everything

Ah boy...yuh lookin good.

Thanks

yeah i able to break that 4Ghz mark easy for me final score, but that chip, whiles it wokin on much lower voltages than the C0 and them (that 4Ghz in that sneak peak pic is only on 1.27 volts without Turbobost so the bus was 200) yua see once you start going over 4, that voltage gap is start closing real quick!

i should have the rig somewhat completed this week coming here and i will post up where i reach on the OC side.

OK Fellahs , when i set out to build this system, i wanted an all in one liquid system that is easy to move around to LAN Parties (No external stuff), provides good cooling performances in a warmish room, looks good outside and a nice clean look on the inside to showoff as much mobo area as possible (No spaghetti wires and hoses all over the place), and of course  Kicks Major Ass

Finally for your enjoyment and scrutiny, i present "SuperPC"  :happy0203:, please post and let me know what you think, i put a lot of work into this build (Took couple days well to do all the case work, and a couple more OCing the sucker, i have an excel sheet with voltages and shit i tried encase anyone has a i7 920 and wanted a point of references), i am pretty proud of the results.

Components used: Lian Li PC-A70B Black Aluminum Full Tower Case, Lian Li Replacement Top Panel w/ Triple 120mm Fan Blowholes, Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120 mm (For radiators), Thermaltake A2029 120X25MM Smart Case Fan II (For Case), PC Power and Cooling Turbo-Cool 1200, EVGA X58 Classified motherboard, Sapphire Radeon HD5970, Intel i7 920 D0, OCZ DDR3 PC3-14400 1800MHz Reaper HPC,
WD VelociRaptor 300 GB by 2 (RAID 0), EK-DDC X-TOP Rev 2 Pump Heads, Swiftech MCP355™ 12 VDC Pump, Koolance Inline 200mm V2 Reservoirs, Feser X-Changer 360mm Xtreme Performance Radiators, Swiftech Apogee GTX CPU Block, Koolance MVR-100 voltage regulator block, A.C. Ryan AcrylPanel (For side case mod), Koolance VID-AR597 GPU block, Logisys 15" Light Kit, Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty PCIe

Cost: i spend about US$3500 give or take on the build.

Build:

OC and Stability tests: (From left to right, 4.3 GHZ with Turbo Boost and Hyper Threading, 4.4 GHz with Turbo Boost Only no hyper threading

for daily use / gaming i think i am going to dump that 4.3 with hyper threading and use the 4.4 GHz profile, i noticed that whiles hyper threading looks good on 3dmark scores, it actually sucks when playing games, i disabled it and FPS went up by as much as 7 to 10 in most games

Benchmark Scores:

I was able to go crazy with the voltage increase and OC on the GPU as i have a full coverage water block on front and stock heat sink with upgraded heat pads on back, in the screen-shots i left MSI Afterburner up with max temps highlighted during benchmark runs (Vantage bench has a nice view of the graphs), as you can see when the card is under load its several degrees lower than a card with stock cooler on Idle!, the VRMs are between 80 to 90 degrees at this OC during a vantage benchmark, and between 70 to 80 whiles playing graphics intensive games

Planned Upgrades 2010:

Well not much to upgrade here, i want to go to some extreme cooling (Sub Zero) and may upgrade to a new TEC CPU block that swiftech suppose to be coming out with later in the year, phase change is out cause once you start down that road the machine because a permanent fixture (No picking up and going to LAN parties), and the chillers out there, the performance per $$$ value ent really worth it.

i may also entertain a second GPU after the TEC upgrade, but we go see.

Now,..... hows abouts we upgrade them here 3dmark06 and vantage threads with these here scores  :cowboy:

nerd pron!!!

props when it's due hoss major props here, excellent build, i'm quite impressed with how neat and 'factory' you managed to get it, the back of the mobo tray must be wires like a mofo

that blue fluid just complements the black...smexy

i guessing CPU only loop and sum like a VC > NB > VR loop?

ohhh laawddd

Hehe Thanks man.

Yeah behind the tray is wires out the ying yang!, i hide some under the PSU to as it had like ah 1 inch gap from the bottom of the case

yeah the blue look official

you are correct on the loops, one for cpu only, then i started from VR-NB-VC, i decided to put the VC last because from experience water cooling them, they is just be scathing ass on water, the cores remain extremely cool regardless of water temps, as the VRs will be getting extremely hot based on the kinda OC i pushing i decided to give it the coolest water first

Isme, what you have there is a SEXY computer. That case with the silver front is SICK!! and the RED liquid or tubing whichever one giving the colour is jus mad!! (Yes I love a red + black colour scheme :P )

I know you and your bro take pride in doing incredibly neat work, I can't even begin to imagine the patience needed to get all that put together, not to mention the time.

With much respect I give you a much needed two thumbs up* for an incredible looking machine and INSANE!!! Score man. Bless
