The Search and Destroy matches ended on something like 13 - 2, lol

The earlier match against TK ended similarly, about 20 - 4.

We did marginally better in the Team Death Matches.

No fear, some more practice and familiarity with the maps/tourney settings and with some slick team work we will be able to overcome the enemy.

Latency is a factor as well, since the enemy will typically have lower pings than us giving them a potent advantage but that is something we will just have to live with for the time being.

We got beat but were not necessarily outplayed as much as the score indicated. Unfortunately, being our first time playing together, it was more of every man for themself vs. the other team, which clearly did not work. We hardly communicated; you TT guys need to get used to optimizing ventrilo during games. The other teams play together all the time and was indicated by their continual usage of the same strategies every round. The fact that our ping was 2.5-3x theirs certainly didn't help, especially in twitch situations. The PAM4 mod seems to be a semihardcore, it takes more hits than hardcore but not as many as softcore, it took a long while to get used to. We actually installed it on our server and were playing with it last night and I found it highly annoying and will take some time getting used to the mechanics.

Hopefully the other bajans will get their key and we can run something vs. TT soon.

yeah, that pam4 mod does take some serious getting used too. installed it on the carigamers server as well. (reluctantly)

As for the beatings, it was our first time playing together, so I didn't expect our team work to be top notch. Definitely a lot of room of improvement there with ventrilo as our guide. Knowing the names of locations in the map and such and how quickly to get there (safely)

Unfortunately there was also some communication mismatch between bajan and trini. When we speak about places in the map, bajans understand - trinis do not. We need to get some standardized names.
