OK guys,

As the Trini Tech Squad gets ready for show time, we are in need of a killer logo and tag line for our group of avid technology enthusiasts.

Something that will inspire us as we boldly go around Trinidad and Tobago repairing PCs and delivering computer goodness.

just came from a reputable retailer of parts...
And I am realizing a trend, more and more of these stores are not learning about the products they are selling.

Case in point, here is a conversation

Me - "what quad is that"
Tech guy - "that is a quad core"
Me - "No. What Number"
Tech Guy - "775"
me - "-.-, no i mean the series number, Q...?"
Tech Guy - "2.6 Ghz" (2.4 btw)
me - "*in head* lolz *exit head*, can i see it?"

turns out it was a Q66 SLACR, aka, G0. 1900, with 1yr warranty I believe.

So that got me thinking about the majority of the guys who in this and really know there sh1t...what separates you from the run of the mill IT techs who just get there wuk with their fancy-shmacy degree and can't install windows (LOLOMFGWUT?) and wouldn't know what active directory look like if it bitch slap them across the face with a SCSI hdd.

You are hobbyist, and what are hobbyist who also do what they love for a living, but enthusiast. (follow me here i know the definitions off)

i call bout 10 no lie 10 of the supposed top vendors in trinidad for some dell parts

i wanted their websites so i doh hadda talk to them and end up cussing

7 out of 10 of them, convo goes like this
