I almost posted this article, it's an interesting read and it makes some good points, however I see it as a case of too much options spreads the vision too wide.

When you're young you relied on your parents to buy you games which in my case was like looking for a beach in a desert...I load loads of free time but not many games.....now, i have a job and own 3 consoles and a number of games but due to work I hardly have time to play any...sigh...
