Fun/Informative/Useful Website Recommendations
« on: August 24, 2009, 07:11:55 PM »
Decided to make a thread where people can post info about websites that they find useful, informative or just plain fun. Here's 3 fun ones I can across recently.

Comiqs

Quote
Comiqs is a service that lets our users create and share their comic-style stories with the community. We aim to provide our users with easy to use tools that transforms their most cherished and most memorable photographs into something fun. We also aim to build to build a fun and light-hearted community where people can hang out to have a laugh or two.
Easiest way to make comics strips using your own photos. Real decent.

GoAnimate

Quote
GoAnimate is a online community built around a really powerful Flash tool that lets anyone create their own animation.
This site's really kewl too. Create your own animations using a fairly robust toolset, right in your web browser. Here's a demo vid

GoAnimate Demo

G.ho.st

Quote
G.ho.st offers every person in the world a free Virtual Computer (VC). G.ho.st is simply pronounced "ghost", an acronym of Global hosted operating system (written G.ho.st with two dots because a URL (web address) must have dots!). The G.ho.st Virtual Computer includes almost everything you would have in a physical computer - a desktop, file storage (like a disk drive) and applications (apps).
Ah yes. The site that made me create this thread. A free online VC that runs right in your web browser. And with 15 FREAKIN' GIGS FOR FREE. what more do you want?

Why to Use G.ho.st Virtual Computer

G.ho.st

Anyone have any sites they'd like to share? Please post here. :sassy:

Necro time. lol

I didn't know where else to post this so I decided to resurrect this here thread.

Stumbled on this site and thought I'd share...

They're hundreds of themes and OST from various videogames that you can play within your broswer. Thought it was pretty cool.

Thats all it is. It's an imbedded flash that places the music. Nothing more. if u remove the last part of the link it carries u to a page with not much on it.

EDIT: Took out the link so that the one above and this won't autoplay together.
