so wait, flow has no business package, a business can use the given residential package as is? what the french toast.... please flow, come to tobago..lolz

anyways, just read this article and i dare say, will/could this happen in tnt as well. take a read >>>> http://online.wsj.com/article/SB125329467451823485.html
they do have a business package, but it not backwards like TSTT, their business package is Fiber, expensive of course, but more awesome than pre buttered toast

lol, that's overkill.

and if FLOW is any indication, that is to them. Good luck trying to get any internet websites to "honor" that speed back to your modem.

You'll lay lay lay with speedtest to FIOS's internet gateway all day long if you want to see that 25 up and down.

Any foreign based players with a ridiculous connection like this willing to do a "bi partisan" speedtest? Say to the kansas speedtest server that awesome used?

For comparison, this is a speedtest to the same server but using a TSTT "10mb" connection

meh, Flow needs to increase our upload on the 10Mbps package. You hardly ever get that 1Mbps as advertised anyways... and if you do... they start to throttle your download

at least, that's how it appears to me.

as a side note, a lil birdie told me to expect another upgrade in speeds this year, I'll keep my ear to the ground to see if I can get a date

If the performance of the last two days is anything to go by, I will honestly admit here and now that Flow's
internet service is by far more superior to TSTT.

Yes, I said it...FAR MORE SUPERIOR.

To be honest, my current issue with TSTT is not so much the Blink service itself, but the actual phone line.
Unfortunately, I have moved into an area of Arima which is known to have a lot of physical infrastructural issues.
At least that is what more than one TSTT line technician told me.  That could account for the rather spotty performance
in general of the blink service, but I can't say for sure, but I DO know that I had to reset my modem more often than was necessary.

Since that Flow connection was installed, the only time I had to reboot the modem was when I transferred the WAN connection to
my wireless router, and it seems I got one of the newer modems too.  This one doesn't have an internal battery, and there's more LEDs
on it so you can have a better idea of its status at a glance.

All in all, I'm very impressed.
My one and only gripe, is that I wish the upload bandwidth was a tad higher, but for now it does the job

Game server pings have improved dramatically.
Downloading has improved.  Especially torrents.

Not a fan of Flow's TV service, and their channel packages, but thats another issue entirely.

Exactly what I'm paying for, is what I'm getting...and thats tha bottom line [c] 'Stone' Cold Steve Austin
Not sure why the pingtest result itself is so atrocious, because I can get pings of 100 ms or less to game servers in Atlanta

...and I'm not having the YouTube issues that some of you highlighted.  My YouTube loads and plays quite nicely.

smug bastard, but arc...the real test is one to an Atlanta server or Kansas. Use the same as we did (Captain and I) to compare.

Going back to the ISP is like testing your own product and saying its good. lol. Hardly an independent bipartisan opinion.

I tend to use Atlanta cause a lot of gameserver that offer us trinis the lowest ping tend to come out of atlanta. (GameServers Battlefield and Call of Duty servers to be exact)

Just for kicks, benchmarking my blackberry's internet connection here, will post results shortly.

edit, test complete, see the mind blowing result below:

Yeah that's more or less what i get on my gprs connection as well. We say it slow but it's faster than dialup lol.

This is my 10 mbit connection as of right now, I used to get the max speeds all the time but now it fluctuates greatly depending on the time of day.

I cant explain why my ping value is so high.  Maybe its because my PC also sits behind a Linksys WRT150N as well?  I dunno,
my network setup could probably be introducing a lot of extra latency to the speedtest.  One of these days, I'll connect it directly and run some tests again.
