Well, we don't have Forza 4 yet.  :laughing7:

Still...this is a MEGA update.

Hats off to Sony/Polyphony Digital.  I wasn't even aware the game had so many issues.  To be honest, I really haven't played it all that much either.  Still have to complete them dastardly tests.

Good stuff.

what bugs/issues? yall make it sound like a huge list of issues
those are things that are being added to the game

this doesnt seem like a long bug fix list to me
Quote
[Correction of Known Issues]
- Corrected an issue where the "Torque Sensing Center Differential" installed on a Lancer Evolution X was not functioning.
- Fixed an issue where you could participate in the Intermediate/Tarmac Rally of the Gran Turismo Rally in a Ferrari F1 by using the power limiter.
- Fixed an issue where the Controller Steering Sensitivity was not applied correctly.
- Fixed an issue where there was a server connection problem in certain network environments.
- Fixed an issue where auto-drive would make braking mistakes.
- Fixed an issue where the system would misjudge whether deceleration happens in time when making pit stops in the rain.

the rest of stuff were additions not fixes

Have you tried deleting the game data file and restarting GT5 and download all updates?
Once that done, then redownload your purchases from the store.
Game data files tend to get corrupted easily.
Restoring from the back ups will just bring back the corrupt files.

If that don't work then it might be a hard drive problem.
Go here:
http://community.us.playstation.com/message/2252774
Follow the instructions and restore file system.
If that didn't help, rebuild the database.
Only those 2 options eh.

Restoring file system/rebuilding database has some side effects just to let you know.
You might lose psn messages and any videos, music you renamed will revert to their original file names. This happens randomly though.

DO NOT RESTORE PS3 SYSTEM lol.

One of those solutions should help. Otherwise it might be a dying hard drive :(.

Oh. Hmmmm...
The game *should* detect that you own the dlc after having deleted the data.
There should be some redownload section in the game. It'd be rather stupid if it didn't.
If you have your backups at least, then I suppose it won't hurt to try.

After deleting the data, re-running, re-installing updates, I'd think youd get a prompt to download your paid dlc.
You could probably check on the gran turismo forums to confirm.

That's BS. =/
Only other suggestion is to contact Polyphony and see if they have a solution. I doubt you'll get anything there.
sucks.
