I did some reading and AMD looking to hit us with a 128 Bit chip later this year or early next year , intel to launching 128 Bit so that's means double bandwidth plus they said it will be 22nm . So we will wait and see .

don't hate on AMD, without them....affordable cpus would not exist.

You can still get a boss mainstream system with amd components for considerably less than intel's offerings.

They also have a much stronger graphics capability in an APU than intel. For 80% of the world, that processor can do everything they need. A real boon for the mobile platform which is where all the excitement has been at in recent times.

Only hard core PC gamers would snub AMD (ahhh.....and this is a forum that caters to hard core gamers, lol....so understandably, no love here)
