Just stumbled upon this while trolling some of my favourite tech sites...

Sapphire's (yes that same producer of graphics-cards) new Edge HD nettop PC...




Nice teardown and review here.

Looks like the perfect alternative to a media streamer box, or building a HTPC,
if all you want to use it for is play HD content on your TV, and still do all that regular
PC stuff (aka Facebook ).

I will be certainly on the lookout for this one.

Interesting.

I have a whole regular desktop hidden behind the TV doing that duty right now.

Not as svelte an option as this but it does have the plus of being able to run full blown PC games in the living room.

Still, I can see this being a huge hit with non-gamers who don't have the luxury of a 360/PS3/Gaming PC in the living room.
