You have to consider HOW the kinect works and think about if it really was EVER designed for 'hardcore'. EVEN IF it was hyper sensitive and worked as accurately as a move, imagine standing and moving ur arms, and rolling around ur room for hours... not gonna fly. I never figured the kinect for hardcore and I don't know why you did either.

The most integration I can see kinect with hardcore titles is like what was showed for Ghost recon, modifications, voice commands like ME3, THAT's where I think integration into hardcore MAY come in, perhaps even throwing grenades whilst using a controller or knifing, Basicalyl LITTLE things, NOT full blown... just doh make sense to me.

In the same vein, I don't see using the MOVE working well over extended periods of time. Imagine pointing that thing for 6 hours.... just try holding your cell phone at arms length for 30 mins... not gonna end well i'm sure.

It is why nintedo GOT IT RIGHT, cuase in zelda, it was little things utilizing d motion, not big things.

Its what microsoft shoudl focus on, that full blown kinect experience for those 3 hardcore games is so stupid i feel to slap d guys on stage.

Subtle things that make sense YES, do it how nintendo do it for hardcore, they got it right.

ANd fully agree with what u say, i dont want to stnad up, or pointing at a screen for hrs.

But i played zelda for hrs on end no problems atal. using d WiiMote.

Not into the EA sports titles, so not upset about their integration with Kinect, I think they will start to do the little integrations, note they didn't show much in Ghost, so time will tell whether they will allow mixing of the control scheme with the kinect. A good integration with MW and FPS titles would be voice commands, like saying team to Delta 4 and popping up location indicators on the mini map (w1n investigates patenting ideas), also things like commanding Unmanned drones, etc. We'll see where they go with this.

In the mean time kinect sports and dance central ftw.

Its funny the original SOCOM had similar on PS2 and at the time I thought all future titles would follow but look how long its taken to start becoming mainstream.

Also was it confirmed that Tomb Raider is 360 exclusive?

MW3 ten minute in game footage... not bad at all, polished, lots of action (as expected), some nice over the top kinda scenes... as good as BF3 has looked so far, I want to see what it looks like on a CONSOLE. (YES I AM GETTING PC VERSION), but I want to see if it'll be a console worthy title as well.

On another note, Messi, yuh also have to consider that yuh cyah sell the kinect as a 'sideline' for a game, meaning those little tweaks and extras that would really fit well integrating the kinect into a mainstream titles isn't a kinect seller, it's just a nice to have. WHat they showed was to showcase the mainstream appeal of the kinect which is what they need to sell.

Yes archer i know, but so far i eh see no solid confirmation that THIS raider coming for pc.

If it is, EPIC!

IF someone can post a link showing official confirmation of crossplatform for this title it will be appreiciated.
