Just finished my first Hr with skyward sword.

Game is EPIC!

Combat system is brilliant. Yuh ever fighting 1 spider and loss 8 hearts, drink ah bottle of potion and loss d rest?
Could be to do with the fact that the demo has no tutorials, and i figuring out d combat system on d fly.
I wont spoil how to easily take down a spider in 2 moves, ill leave that for you guys to figure out. (sorry dare2badnaiel already spoil it for u lol).

But the combat system is truely brilliant, truely engaging, truely sensible, you need to know what you're doing in this game, you cant jus go shake the wiimote and expect to walk out alive.

@ 2560 * 1600 with 16x AF, the game really looks amazing.

More testing tomorrow!

I cannot believe you actually had to do the entire motion of 'pulling' the sword from the altar,
and then 'holding' it aloft.   :awesome:

Just about 1 hour in, and I.  Am.  HOOKED!!!  :laughing7:
I'm afraid BF3 is gonna get put down for a while.

Do not walk.....RUN out and buy a Wii for this,
and if you already have a Wii...then why are you still reading this?

Miyamoto is really one of the greatest talents of our time yes.

* bows in reverence *       "arrigato, Miyamoto-san"

Skyward Sword could easily replace Dead Space 2 or Crysis 2 for me as a Game Of The Year nomination.

Yes...it's that Epic.

...and I'm only 2 hours in.

It might just replace Ocarina Of Time as my personal 'Best Game Ever'

Unfortunately, this one can't be patched.  You actually need to get a fixed version of the game itself, i.e. a new game disc.

Not a problem now that we know.

+1 for the heads-up Eroo.  :icon_thumleft:

Just beat the 1st boss in the forest 'temple'.  OMFG, I didn't realize it would be so difficult,
yet so wickedly cool all at the same time.

I'll keep saying it:  Nintendo has really nailed it with the motion control in this game.  NAILED IT!!!  :laughing7:
