You know that you're playing too much Zelda when you...

http://www.northcastle.co.uk/guild/humour/ztoomuch.html

(Some of these are pretty demented, i'll think up a few of my own but make it more relevant)

1) When someone or yourself goes around the house seeking something and you find it, you hold it over your head and sing or whistle the Zelda jingle.

2) When you do yardwork and cut the weeds/grass, you half expect a rupee to pop out of the spot you cleared.

3) When you like to sneek up on relatives/Girlfriend/Boyfriend/children while singing the same Zelda jingle and scare the living daylights out of them with the last part of the Jingle. ( DA DA DA DAAAAAAA!!!!!) >:-D
Feel free to reply with your Zelda musings too  :awesome:

This is one of those few times where the stars and planets are in perfect alignment...and I agree with Messiaah.

Everything about Ocarina Of Time stood out for me, and I'm not even a RPG man.  Not even Wind Waker was better, but it's a close second

I may have to get a WiiU just for this one yes. :ko:

4) When you've put the LostWoods soundtrack as your main ringtone, and minute of forest as your wife's ringtone, and the phone rings in the middle of a presentation and you feel proud!

@ arc, this is for the Wii, not WiiU. and Celestrial alignment indeed, because i never figured you for a zelda fan. Gayometer just went down by 10! (rofl lil pico).

lol @ stars in perfect alignment

fuh real eh. I know arc for about a decade and didn't quite peg him as a Zelda fan myself.

Goes to show how truly an equal opportunity gamer he is. The epitome of our ilk

+1

(but -1 for not knowing Zelda was on Wii and not Wii U, lol)

LOL @ 'Gayometer'.  If it was anybody else, I woulda cuss them six ways to Sunday.  :laughing7:

...but yeah, Ocarina Of Time is one one of my all time favourites, even better than MGS (in my opinion of course).
I even got the Master Quest Edition on Gamecube (that I haven't played, but I need to).

It's one of those games that just takes me back, and puts a big kiddie grin on my face whenever I play it.
Is it wrong to say I'd like to live in Hyrule for a while?  :laughing7:

Not atal.

Probably beat that game bout 5 times @ this point. It just so brilliant.
And with d Hi-Res pack it makes it even better. A true classic.
Nintendo needs to remake that game, dont change anything, juss take it, put modern day graphics and release it. Which is basically what they did with it on d DS.

But i want it for d big screen. Here's to hoping skyward sword lives up to the challenge.

A little quote from the article to intrigue ppl on the fence to read the full thing:

"Ask people which is their favourite Zelda game, and you'll almost always get the same answer. There will always be the odd Wind Waker or Majora's Mask maverick in there, but the overwhelming majority will tell you that it's Ocarina of Time. It doesn't matter whether they're 16 or 35. Ocarina of Time's shadow looms so large over every later Zelda game that they've had to work extremely hard to distinguish themselves; Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks did it with that cartoonish art style, where Twilight Princess made a slightly less confident foray into novelty with its wolfish Link.

After this year, though, there's a serious chance that answer is going to change. I've spent enough time with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword now to realise that this may very well be the best Zelda game ever made."

---

Drools:

"It's no exaggeration to say that Skyward Sword has one of the best combat systems in modern gaming – and once again, unlike so many motion control games, it really requires skill."
