HP Pavilion G6-1b60us

Hey guys, I have the above mentioned laptop for 3 months and suddenly the laptop screen is showing some flickering horizontal lines.  I want to know instead of sending it back to the US to repair, can I send it to the HP store in trincity mall instead?  I am trying to cut down time because I have assignments to do and I need it repaired.

once its still under warranty the store should honour it. Call and check though.
