sweet.

I played some rounds myself this morning. Real pace.

Proceeded up the elevator to the top floor and was promptly riddled with bullets for my fassness.

Was on the office PC, which isn't the most powerful.

Can't wait to run it from home with the beast to see what the game can really do.

i'm having fun playing, i'm just messing people up with the LAV, even tanks, but i hope the full release is better optimized, it runs good at times then all of a sudden lag spikes

hmm, RazerComms. A new competitor for Mumble and TeamSpeak.

Will check it out.

Let's really do, I will be giving it a try later on today. Will post the relevant details/credentials asap

So I've installed it, it's fine. Shall I create a group, or would the admins like to make a GATT dedicated one?

Critics say: 'It badd'

Frustrations/issues aside...the beta runs really good for the most part...especially with Nvidia's new beta drivers.

60 - 80 fps @ 2560x1440 with 'Ultra' settings.  Not bad at all...

The bar is about to be raised...again.  :)

Sure, let us test it out and see if it is better than teamspeak or mumble.

add me, triniwyatt@carigamers.com

You can find the details for our TeamSpeak server here, currently in test to replace mumble:

http://www.carigamers.com/cms/forums/index.php/page,teamspeak.html

We can compare the both and decide in time for the launch of Battlefield 4

I have been thinking about buying battlefield 4 for a few days but after seeing this image i have to buy it. What i would like to know is what is the difference between the Digital deluxe and the normal battlefield 4 available for purchase.

yes, the graphics are amazing.

The main attraction to the digital deluxe for me was the access to the early beta.....that advantage is going to be lost tomorrow...as people who purchased the regular copy will now have access to the beta.

So YMMV

Official line from Dice: "Digital Deluxe Edition includes access to the Exclusive Battlefield 4™ Beta and 3 Gold Battlepacks"

Those battlepacks will be a collection of weapons, equipment, perks, etc....

Gold being the highest rated package (They will have bronze and silver also available for sale)

So basically it allows you access to some high level kit without having to rank up and work your butt off to get them.

To me the fun is in unlocking the weapons so i guess i will be buying the normal version.

...and that is beta graphics eh.

I'm pretty sure there are a TON of hi-res textures, and post-processing effects missing.
The final game will buttsecks your eyeballs.  :laughing7:

Have you guys checked out the 'Leaderboards'?

Pretty interesting stuff...

That map of Trinidad's roads is scarily accurate...down to the apartment buildings in Maloney and all visible on it if you zoom in enough.
Somebody at DICE has been doing their homework.

You can even set your location on the map, and check out how others in the country (and on your 'friends' list) are doing.
Pretty nice lil 'social' feature.
