Well if they are making the game for 4 platforms they should cut 2 platforms off, obviously the xbox 360 and ps3 so they can make the PC version instead. I am sure they will make more profit and save money that way and come on the game is being released in 2014 I can't see why they will want the game on an older platform.

Don't write off those older platforms just yet. They've sold in the millions over the past few years and it will take quite some time for these new consoles to be widely adopted. Launching it on these older platforms will make them boat loads of $$$....

this. coupled with the fact that most likely when ppl do upgrade their systems thats another $10 ppl will pay to upgrade their game and seeing as destiny suppose to be a 10 year game thats almost guaranteed money as i cant see ppl staying on PS3/360 for another 10 years

There's still commerce in PS3/360 for another how many years. Gamers of all people HATE being forced to make a choice, so telling them they MUST get it for next gen (or current gen) would just cause a shitstorm on a new IP that is not needed. The truth is developers WANT to move on, its a strategy to make the gamer THINK they made the choice...rather than it being decided years before for them.

AND I figure that people who can afford to do it will. When halo 5 hit for instance, I rely doubt that coming 360, that HAVE to be ah next gen exclusive. Like KI. But 3rd Parties hada make they money, so once they could manage, they go hit last gen as well.

Uncharted go be ah next gen exclusive as well I'm sure.

I guarantee Halo 5 will not be on Xbox 360. It is THE reason to buy an Xbox One next fall. Halo and Xbox are like peanut butter and jelly, everyone I know who play Halo either already have their Xbox One, or will definitely be getting one before Halo drops next year.

Same goes if Epic decides to drop a Gears game our way on Xbox One. I wouldn't doubt, since the Gears Universe is big enough, don't mind that the fight against the locusts and lambent was done in GOW 3, the one thing with games and Halo is the perfect example is that you can always find another form of enemy to fight against. Next Gen gaming just started, we have alot to look forward to...

Sony exclusive to Destiny... kinda sucks after owning not just every Halo game but also PRE-console era games such as Marathon on Mac. That being said baring a real backlash from the xbox community over this I would say #titanfallthatisall should tide ppl over until it's actual release.

titanfall drop when it did because it was trying to avoid the congestion that occurs at the end of the year. shooter season is already full
