try the shaun t Insanity workout, has some very good Ab routines. and ALL the exercises focus on developing your cardio and your core. pretty epic routine imo.

Also has the shaun T hip hop abs, (and no its not just for chicks) been trying both workouts, and making some decent progress, when I thought all hope was lost  with this gut.

I never tried the insanity... I was doing the P90x stuff and that was the chest and back routine...but I should have a "copy" of the insanity somewhere. I'll look for it and look thru for abs workouts....the truth is I didn't go through the whole p90 workout as yet...but I'll try to check em out
thanks

and its got a pretty serious rating at bodybuilding.com

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/bsn/synth.html

serious man.
If he not under promotion for it and he a fan, well then big up.

Number one rule is to ignore the marketing of the product  and check reviews.

yes, that's why I sent him the link to bodybuilding.com

they have aggregate reviews on products and whats more, pictures of real people who are actually using it (along with their work outs, etc..)

So you can see what the real world results could be.

I was pretty impressed when I saw that they had over 6000 people using it on there.

The last whey protein I took only had 1000 people using it on bodybuilding.com.

There is some wisdom to a crowd. (and these peeps are a pretty hard core crowd, lol)

Not necessarily. There's quite a lot of crap that's popular on bb.com
Syntha 6 is good stuff for making regular protein shakes for any particular time. It has a good taste and everything. If you want to sub it for something else try Optimum Nitrocore 24.
If you go all out and subscribe to serious post workout nutrition then syntha 6 is less than optimal and you'd probably be better off with a straight whey protein. ON Gold Standard is good but it doesn't taste all that good, Myofusion is a good substitute for it if that bothers you.

well I'll consider the options and keep em in mind...I mean I don't mind trying new products if it means improving myself...so I'll take safe chances whenever possible...I did buy the syntha 6 last saturday and people who haven't seen me in months, told me yesterday that I looking ripped...so for now I'll hit the syntha and the heavy food stocks!

lol @ 2 pack shakur

putting on weight and getting a 6 pack don't go hand in hand.

wish you luck with that one!

If there is one thing I know about 'bodybuilding' and changing the way you look. You CAN use those creatine supplements and shit BUT none of those things are evaluated by the FDA..
They are VERY hard on your liver and eating a reasonably balanced diet
can give you ALL the stuff your body needs to create and maintain the look you want.

For good solid core, i usually do 75 situps every morning. The Ab Ripper X is the fastest ab workout i've seen that really kicks ur ass.

However... take a peek at the Spartacus Workout.. 41 mins of Interval madness

Pls go.
There are literally dozens of studies on creatine, it's safe as hell. The way some people talk about creatine you'd think it was some kind of PH.
Whole foods are better than any supplement, but it isn't even close to practical to get enough creatine from food as from a supplement (y helo thar 5lbs of meat per day). You'd also end up eating a hell of a lot of food to be getting the proper protein intake, which would probably put you over your calorie requirements anyway.

In conclusion, take no nutritional advice from this gentleman.

Ok maybe I wasnt clear.
I know for a fact that creatine has been shown to increase short term explosive power(giving u muscle mass)

secondly, NONE of the protein powders weight loss formulas and all that shit, none of it is regulated by the FDA.

While yes, if you want to build mass and feel you need to use creatine by all means go ahead.

And 'safe as hell'... Sir, I've watched people go WAY over the recommended usage of creatine in order to get 'pumped fast' IT IS hard on your liver. your Body is not meant to process that much creatine that fast, it is not natural.

Yes whole foods and a reasonably balanced diet are better than any supplements barring you having some sort of uncontrollable deficiency.

I know people on a 6000 calorie a day diet, fit as a fiddle, they most certainly get all the required protein, and for regular 'shmoes' who work out 3x a week and try to keep to a 2000 calorie diet, it's actually been found that most people (americans) get entirely TOO much protein for their lifestyle (3pcs of chicken and 1 side of carbs for e.g.)

So try yuh best, I didnt just jump in this convo I did my research too.
I'll pass on Creatine simply because I give my liver enough stress with alcohol don't need to double that up.

I agree with what ur saying Mez
I mean I will admit I'm using the supplements at my own risk and on my own accordance...but I'm also taking in consideration that a balanced diet is essential. Even though the package may give a "recommended" dosage. I use less. Especially since you, my dad and some articles online stated that the supplements are not totally safe. It's useful ...but at one's own risk and as mentioned, it should not be overused for "quick" results.

Aye as a side note, Mez I did a total abs workout this morning again.. pressure iDMC
but it real helping inna big way. Is there a limit to abs workout? ..like can one do them everyday...or must one rest and do it every other day...because I did some abs yesterday and some today but I don't want to injury myself...but I'm not using weights while doin the workouts though.

Have to say guy, I'm OVERWHELMED at the quantity of evidence you've provided to back up your claims.
I'm not too concerned with what you believe but I figured that maybe it'd be nice to post some actual evidence.

http://www.johnberardi.com/articles/nutrition/dear.htm
http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance_bodybuilding_supplements/the_creatine_controversy&cr=
http://forums.menshealth.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/63310347/m/647108298

And anyone who takes creatine to get "pumped fast" probably isn't too bright. Their danger to themselves might be more the fact that they think crap like that than any inherent problem with the supplements.
