So on behalf of ALL XBOX 360 RROD owners i call Microsoft and CUSS THEY ASS OUT.
Serious.
Instead of sending me a Box to put the 360 in. they send an email with a LABEL to print out. I hadda get my OWN box and......what d @SS is dis.
I called them and said i dont want no email sh!t send me a box and label and everything to send back. They said that they cant do that right now and if I would follow the instructions to print the label and use my own box.

I told them
"I Dont want a f*cking email! I want a coffin for this defective POS you sold me, and I want YOU to fix it in the time you said you would"

They sending a box now :P Geez.....the things you hadda do to get your stuff :(

The crappy part is that it is very likely they will ship back a refurbished unit that will fail again

Either way im buying a Elite (found some info to check on the box if its a Falcon Chip) at the end of the month. And will sell the refurbished 360 back to Gamestop or some nub place.
Although im hearing now on the old 360's like mine without HDMI they just giving you a new system.

Any XBOX with a date on the box after August 2007, 175W power and Team: FDOU stamped on the box is a Falcon processor. It has a 10 percent failure rate which is the failure rate of ALL consoles. The previous failure rate was somewhere in the 30-40 percent range.
This is the FIRST console I have purchased in TWENTY FOUR YEARS that failed on me. GG :P

im one of those who thinks the 360 hardware is a bit clunky when you consider the failure rate but its one of my better buys this year. like said before the GOW sweat is to die for, once your not lagging or dying cause someone stuck a shotgun up your backside (insert a random tgl clan member ). as for grid, well grid is gods gift to drivers. its not too sim and not too arcade and has the best downhill drift since i watched initial d series. its a racing persons game and although it lacks all the fancy customizations and large car libraries of other games, it makes it up with it variety of racing styles. a true 5 out of 5 game. it more than makes up for the very poor pro street from EA and my disappointment in burnout paradise.
im also not really sad about missing MGS4 and while im talkin about that, the rumour mill is a buzz about a big huge e3 m$ announcement featuring a so called MSG4 killer that they purchased a company to acquire. now i hate rumours and even more so "game killers" cause they never live up to the hype and are often bland copies of the game they are trying to replace. either that or it takes so long to release that youve lost interest ( too human ). so ill wait an see for myself.
If I enjoy eating chicken does that make me a stereotype

or a fat bastard?

Transferring your licenses is now easy.

For those of you, who had to replace you xbox 360s due to rrod of whatever, you would have noticed that you DLC is only available online. Which means you can't play you arcade games offline or access videos etc because the content is tied to the xbox 360 it was downloaded on.

No More... check the link http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/licensemigration/

^thats nice...

I hear there are same problems wit PS3's and DLC tied to it...hope Sony follow's suit... (I hear they do it on request though)

Aye...I wanted to ask you 360 guys...
Regarding Voice chat.
Every game on 360 supports voice chat?

And I was thinking that voice chat is handled by the 360 rather than the game?
That is, communication over the 360 interface at all times to friends in game and out of game?

Or is tied to the game?

It's not tied to the game. It's tied to XBL or player to player if you will. Basically if someone is online you can have a direct private chat with them. If you're in a game you can either have a private chat with a single player on ur list OR you will be able to chat in the game's channel. Meaning if you join a game and there are X # of players you can talk to all of them at the same time once ur in that session.

Yeah also some games only allow you to speak to your squad in larger games such as Battlefield Bad Company. I read an unconfirmed rumor that the next dashboard update will support private voice chat for more than two people both in and out of a game.

I was hoping that one day microsoft would do that.

As you guys know its only whats coded in the game that you can voice chat on PS3 :(

Well, I guess this makes that news^^^ official.  Well...kinda.

Come on Sony...I want your PS3, but I still can't justify spending $500 US on it.
...and no, I'm not even considering the $400 40GB one.

ps3 because the xbox pad will hurt the hell out of your thumbs trying to play street fighter unless there is a third party joy pad out there.
