played the Too Human demo.
It was .......good....but not OMG good

The story seems decent and theres lots of it. The demo is pretty long.

I DO NOT like the thumbstick melee combat atall...but when you start to level up to 4 or 5 you start to do some sick combos, and link melee and guns together....which is cool

Its a nice game when you get the hang of it, but you shouldnt have to get the hang of it. :(

I have been a Multiplatformer and have only so far been impressed with Live and the online abilities of Xbox live over PS network. There was obviously more planning and development involved on Microsoft's behalf to implement such a rock solid infrastructure. That's why most of my time is invested in playing Xbox 360 instead of PS3. Hopefully Home comes good and brings up the PS name, but they have ALOT of work ahead of them to stay neck and neck with Live...The new features that are coming on live are great. 8 person chat room ? to be able to bring them all with you to watch MOVIES and play games, is an AWESOME thing. Great Job Microsoft!

Does everybody have to download the movie, or one person has it and invites people to watch?

8 person chat is great. no more stupid annoying americans.
The new interface looks nice too.

An opinion should be the result of thought, not a substitute for it.

I would hope that since its Group oriented that only the group leader with the NetFlix account (Redlum) can host the movie and everyone will be able to watch it together. Download is inevitable, I doubt you can stream the movie without some kind of lag...I would assume that it allows you to enter a room where you can view the movie, like a small theatre, at least that's how I imagine it....

Motion Sensing skateboard coming to xbox 360 and PS3 this fall.

Quote from: N4G
The Q-motions wireless skateboard features an Ollie button for kick flips, jumps, air maneuvers as well as its 8 touch sensors that let you perform all sorts of tricks and maneuvers. The board will retail for $99 at RadioShack come Fall. This is totally a must-have accessory for hard-core fans of the Skate-boarding / surf-boarding genre.

$199 Xbox 360???
« Reply #930 on: August 03, 2008, 03:20:13 PM »
Kotaku is repoting a sort of comnfirmation that the Xbox 360 Arcade will frop to $199 in September

http://kotaku.com/5032449/proof-of-the-199-xbox-360-rumor

Quote
The scheduling of the drop is telling as well. It takes place 1 week after Square Enix's 'Infinite Undiscovery' and 2 weeks before Harmonix/EA's 'Rock Band 2' - both exclusive to the Xbox 360 platform at the time of release and pricedrop (obviously, Rock Band 2 will ship in November for the other platforms).

If this is true I'll for sure jump into getting a 360..
The arcade + 120gb HDD...

Won't that make it an elite? :P

$289 not bad...

Edit - $89USD for a 20gb HDD?
WTF?

Its $180 for the 120gb HDD..
Still pretty frickin expensive....

O well... $299 60gb 360 ftw...
                $350

burr??? Then it makes sense to go $199 + $180

....
sigh I give up..

yup. Now all they hadda do is drop the prices on their accessories like the HDD and controllers and wheels. Although I was able to get some rather discounted ones on amazon.

Pretty much, milk it while it's good I guess. They just BETTER use all that DOSH to make their next gen console blow mind! and not just innovative in gameplay.

Rumor Rumor Rumor

http://kotaku.com/5041042/rumor-199-xbox-with-motion-controller-on-the-way

Xbox 360 Fanboy, citing "a tip from a source close to Microsoft's marketing department," says the price cut to $199 for the Arcade system is meant to position that bundle against the Wii. So it'll get a huge family-friendly marketing push and title support. And in the fall, it gets a motion controller with some motion-controlled mini-games developed by Rare.

Again, according to this rumor (by the time I'm repeating it to you, it's fourth-hand) the controller will be sold separately and will be compatible with all versions of the 360 console. Reading the story, it sounds like you would get the controller plus an even larger list of mini-games if you buy it separately.

The new products are set to drop Holiday 2008, says Xbox 360 Fanboy. We shall see.

Vote XBox 360

Ultimate election gimmick

By Paul Taylor: Wednesday, 27 August 2008, 8:51 AM

STARTING THIS PAST MONDAY, Americans can use their Xbox Live service to register to vote in the upcoming presidentials. The initiative, jointly developed by Microsoft and Rock the Vote is supposed to tap into the 12-million large Xbox Live community and draw the couch potato crowd to participate in the so-called “democratic process”, or something like that.

Rock the Vote is a youth-oriented organisation that mixes pop culture with politics to attract people to politics. RtV had previously premiered on-line and phone voter registration, but doing it on the Xbox 360 sounds so much more avant-garde and cool.

"The Xbox Live community is active, vocal and passionate," gushed Marc Whitten at Xbox Live HQ. It is, especially if they can gather in teams and blow stuff up. Let’s just hope people register with their real names and not their handles. It’d be a bit strange if the odd 20,000 or so players with “MasterChief” in their names were to do that…

The Xbox Live community was compared to being the “seventh largest state in the country”, equivalent to owning about 20 electoral votes – which, of course, it isn’t. 12 million is the total number of Live users worldwide.

La Vole’s console will also be present at both GOP and Democrat conventions where attendees will be able to watch the voter registration system in action. We guess it’ll also let people work off some of that frustration for not coming first in the primaries.

Maybe Hillary will get some satisfaction after all…
