Just wondering if anyone's ever heard of these two shows
Giant Robo - Just saw a few episodes of this. It seems to be a miniseries, and it's freakin amazing. Serious action. Typical hokey anime storyline, but it seems to have that underlying japanese social significance as it about the power of misusing a powerful energy source(hiroshima). It has an early anime look, like astroboy drawing style (i can't remember the artists name)
Grave of the Fireflies - Only saw a trailer. it's kinda old. a war movie. lots of mainstream western critical recommendation.
Anyone ever saw these? Are they any good?
